MY legacy starts HERE…

As I stand here in front of these 4 trailblazers, I think about how they dared to start their own legacy, breaking barriers, making history, and paving the way for generations to come.
Tomorrow, I take the first step in creating my legacy.

“it only took 5…”
5 days until I graduate.
5 days until I sign out of this chapter with the sisterhood that helped shape me.

To THEE Sophisticated Zeta Alpha Chapter,

Thank you for giving me a home, a purpose, and a sisterhood that changed my life. When I look back on my journey, I realize that hard road didn’t just give me sisters, it gave me confidence, growth, and a version of myself I prayed to become. It taught me how to lead with intention, love with depth, and serve with purpose.

To my 45 sisterZ, my VisionZ, thank you for being the true reflection of what sisterhood is. We entered this journey as women with different stories but one intention. The way we’ve learned, grown, cried, and celebrated together is something I’ll hold close forever. You all taught me that vision isn’t just what you see ahead, it’s also the people who stand beside, in front of, and behind you.

To my CB, thank you. Thank you for being the shoulders I needed to cry on, the ones to make me laugh when most needed, and showing me what’s it’s like to finally be a little sister. I swear I love yall to the moon and back 36 times 🥹 .

signing out , the slick #36
- spring ‘24 initiate

Seven - the number of completion.
Seven days until I close this chapter 🎓 .

When I first came to A&T, I was shy, quiet, and unsure of where I fit in. If you told that girl she’d one day walk into the rooms she’s walked into, hold the positions she’s held, and impact this campus the way she did… she wouldn’t have believed you.

The clock tower reminds me just how precious time is here. Every hour, every minute, every second mattered. And I used them, all 104,893,200 seconds, to grow, to stretch, and to make my mark.

God didn’t just open doors for me… He opened the right ones.

The language of business.

In 10 Days, I will officially become an alumna of the Illustrious North Carolina A&T State University!

First and foremost, thank you God. Without you, none of this is possible.

I also want to thank the Willie A. Deese College of Business and Economics, COBE, my home. You were more than just classrooms, you were the foundation that shaped me into the professional I am today. Thank you for guiding me to success, for giving me opportunity after opportunity, and for seeing a potential in me that I didn’t initially see in myself. Im forever grateful for all that these past 3 years has taught me. I’m proud to forever be #COBEMade, because we are ALWAYS standing on business!

Grandma, this is for you!
