Handmade wooden portfolio box on display for 'New Constructs'. The box contains the majority of my physical tests and work prints for this project so far. It remained closed during the show, serving instead as a frame for this image. An Easter egg for those that knew, alluding to the work-in-progress aspect of the exhibition. by @_newconstructs

“The work on display marks the beginnings of a new body of work in which Sam uses the camera as both a tool and a means of exploring the South West. New Constructs is a celebration of the creative act showcasing a series of ongoing works by four artists based in the UK – Dulcie Wagstaff, Willie Franklin, Sam P. Cashmore, and Katie Waite. Photographs, journal entries, sketchbooks, and more will be on display as we bring together our studio practices into a shared conversation.

The show will open daily from 10:00, October 23rd through to the 26th. We will be hosting an early opening from 8:30 the morning of the 24th with a celebratory evening from 18:00-20:00 that same Friday. @filet_space

We can’t wait to show you what we’ve all been up to.

23rd-26th October 2025
