Deadpool and Wolverine ⚔️

Hi everyone! Here is my drawing of Deadpool and Wolverine from the recent movie. This was so fun to draw and the movie was hilarious (it made me rewatch the mutant storyline). Anyway, I hope you like the drawing as much as I do! I included progress photos and the reference photo produced by Marvel.

Hi everyone! I am sorry for not being active this past week. I had a lot of school work, so I had to focus on that. Anyway, I finally finished this eye drawing and I am very proud of it. I also attached photos of my progress, as well as the reference photo(swipe to see). I am thinking of drawing a character from shadow and bone next, but I am not a hundred percent sure. #prismacolorpencils #prismacolor #eyedrawing #openthemeartcontest78k #380kartcontest #yesprismacolor by @_nicoledraws_

As we all know, today is Earth Day! Since I am very passionate about the environment and art, I decided to share an art piece that led me to first place in a civics art contest! With that being said, I would like to take this opportunity to share vital information about climate change and how you can help combat it. Peace is the biggest way of ensuring climate change. Think about who you support and what you actually stand for. Be an advocate even if only impacts one person or animal or one tree. I am sure that we have all heard of the hundreds of scientists who are protesting around the world to address the urgency of climate change. These protests were driven by a United Nations report that stated that we only have “three more years to curb greenhouse gas emissions and avoid more severe climate disasters'' (O'Connell-Domenech, 2022). How can you help in this fight? Many people think that the populace can’t do anything against climate change, but that is false—small changes have a big impact on this situation. There are many things that you can do—I would start with learning about climate change. The greatest way to make a difference is to have the knowledge to do so. In addition, you can switch to green power, try to purchase reusable items, write a letter to an elected representative, and shop locally. These are just a few examples, so if you would like to learn more about this issue and how you can help fight it, here are a few reliable articles to read and organizations to support:

Starry Night by Vincent Van Gogh

Happy holidays! I finally made a gouache painting after a few months of only sketching! I became so focused when painting this that I completely forgot to take progress photos (I will take more progress photos). This is a special painting for my favorite person, so it was super fun to make! I might make a Timelapse of the next painting I make (if I don’t forget to set up the recording like I did this time).

Venom 🩸

In honor of the third Venom movie coming out this Friday and Halloween creeping around the corner, I decided to post a drawing I made of Venom! The details quite literally took forever, but I love how realistic and creepy it looks!

AP Drawing Portfolio

Hi everyone—

Here is my AP drawing portfolio for 2024! My portfolio question was: how can realistic art pieces modernize mythological beings from various cultures through symbolism and features? This was a very interesting topic that helped me learn about different cultures—it was very difficult to choose from the hundreds I found, but I enjoyed the process! One of the modern takes of a mythological goddess was portrayed as an Inuuvunga throat singer and Native American content creator, Shina Nova (first slide), for those that recognize her. Other drawings were of important mythological beings, such as Manat, an Arabian goddess, or Oshun (a Yoruba goddess). If you are interested in talking about the history or even the art process, I would love to do so. Anyway, take this as a sign to get out of your comfort zone and read about another culture for today!

Guitar painting 🎸

Hi everyone! This is a new painting I did of my electric guitar. I decided to change up my style for this painting and add in aspects of abstract art, which I think fit the painting well!

Also, enjoy Seek & Destroy by Metallica—I am currently learning it and it is a very enjoyable song!

Hi everyone! Here is a commission I was requested to make for Captain Jack Sparrow! I haven’t had the time to create personal art, but I can post more of the public health art I have been working on—let me know what you think. Besides that, I really enjoyed drawing this, and I have to say the hat was my favorite part. I hope you like it as much as I do, and you can scroll to see the reference photo by Enstatia on Pinterest. by @_nicoledraws_

This is a collaboration with, @belletrix_art! I absolutely love how both of our drawings came out! Off topic, but Isabelle should become a comic book illustrator for marvel with how amazing her art is—go check it out on her page! Anyway, swipe to look at Isabelle’s artwork, and to look at my progress as well as my reference photo.
