2025 state champion. #cleansweep

“i am not bound to succeed, but i am bound to live up to the light that i have” -abraham lincoln

finished my powerlifting career with four first place state medals. although this season was riddled with injuries, setbacks, and a LOT of weight cutting, the immense support from my family, friends, coaches, and other lifters pushed me to the right path. although i did not achieve my ultimate goal of breaking the state record, i was taught countless lessons and my journey is far from finished.

i like to say i did about 50% of the work to get here. with that being said, special thank you to the other 50%: my parents who were with me every day both in the gym and in the kitchen, to allison, eric, and cole for starting me in my lifting career, to my coaches, teammates, and dilyn at @fitmjc for building me from the ground up, to alex and colton for saving my life in the sauna, to everyone who gave me advice or words of encouragement, and most importantly, to God for giving me strength and opportunity to compete. i couldn’t have done it without you all.

bench: 245 (1st and 5 pounds off state record)
squat: 315 (1st)
clean: 210 (1st)
total: 770 (1st)
