Have you ever caught yourself holding onto a moment that wasn’t yours to keep?

A smudge of graphite on my thumb.. A page half turned in a bookstore that smelled of old wood and warmer days. The hush between two strangers who might never speak, but still shared the same dust speckled light.
There’s a softness to it all. The kind you can’t name until it’s over, until it follows you home.

A package from Nanjing sat beside me, carrying a kindness that felt almost unreal. It was the sweetest reminder that even across oceans, Lú had reached out through the noise.

In that stillness, I realised how much beauty lives in these fragile fragments: the unfinished drawing, the unspoken connection, the way silence can speak louder than words.

Who knows? Maybe beauty is less about finding answers and more about flirting with the questions. by @_nompilongcobo
