A message to my daughter,
My Kai, I wrote this message as I watched you sleep. You are 1 month old today and I couldn’t be more happier. Sometimes I don’t know what to do when you cry, sometimes I stay up and just stare at you to make sure you’re breathing, sometimes I just laugh seeing you struggle to latch to your bottle. Sometimes I’m confused because you knock your own pacifier out, then get upset about it, but everyday with you is worth it, you came when I needed you the most. You’re a diamond because you are bright and ever since you came into this world you have made me better, patient, and you are my new found motivation. Your mom makes things easier because she does such a great job with you. This message is more than just words it’s a promise, a promise to love you unconditionally and be with you every step of the way as your father.
