On May 2nd we’re taking over Skatecafe for a night of music, dancing and good food.

While outside the chefs are wipping Some good food on the Portuguese barbecue, inside the DJ becomes the chef, serving the perfect recipe for an intimate, raw, sweaty dance floor. 🔥 taken in SkateCafe by @_noreservation_

Still not over this night...

There was some serious dancing, so much laughter, the floor was absolutely on fire. The DJs truly served, and the energy in the room was everything. Almost impossible to capture, yet @lauresque managed to do it beautifully.

Big love to @skatecafeamsterdam, @gemistry.ams , caipirinha bar, all the DJs, and every single person who showed up.

RRIDDIM works in layers: deep bass, shifting textures, fractured percussion. Her sets pull from Latin American and African sounds but refuse to sit still, breaking genre into raw material and rebuilding it in motion. D.OUD drives from the ground up. Afro-diasporic rhythms from Latin America and the Caribbean kuduro, raptor house, bubbling, Bacardi pushed through high-speed pressure and slow, rolling grooves. FOS backing him up with her Portuguese influences, she was raised in the Algarve and stands in the kitchen most off her time.
