You’re an angel god-damn-it babyy!! Girl you made it, you’re a Doctor now. Some people might say you’re doing too much, you’re not the first Doctor… duh! I’ll tell my story nonetheless because I’m special! It all started in Covenant Academy, I was in SS2 when I sat my first WASSCE(my dad loved the idea of trying it first so the main one in ss3 doesn’t come as a surprise), don’t remember the content of the result but I had all 5credits, took jamb in SS3 now in Archdeacon Brown Education Centre, applied to Babcock university for Medicine and surgery, this was my second choice. Shortly after my Jamb, COVID outbreak occurred, after months of lockdown, I resumed to write my second and main WASSCE and I had 2As 4B2s and 2B3s (I wrote NECO but I haven’t checked the results till now🤣). Just before I finished WASCCE, I gained admission into Babcock University, I remember running to Enator’s room, I and Oroma gained Jamb’s admission. We jumped and hugged each other, when I calmed down, I saw Biochemistry and my mood changed and I went back to my room. I had already started my application to Niagara college in Niagara, Canada for a health related course pathway (community health assistant program) to get into Medicine and surgery in the University of Barbados after Permanent residency. This was my main plan until my unfortunate denial of visa, a lot of millions of Naira and thousands of Canadian Dollar(CAD) gone. A few weeks before my Visa denial, my Dad suggested I apply to another Nigerian school as a back up plan since I was definitely not going to take the slot given by Babcock university (I also hated that I had to wear skirts😅) so I did what I thought would be best, I told my Dad about all the cvltism and generally vices in other private school, many of which I wasn’t even sure was true😂. He then suggested PAMO University of Medical Sciences and of course I loathed the idea but i ran out of excuses😅.Looking back now, I’m happy I made the decision to start even though it wasn’t my original plan, the journey came with its hurdles but I pulled through without a single resit and I’m proud of that!
