Stepped up to the mic as master of ceremonies & co-panel moderator for @breathe.free.ltd Wellness Brunch.

We unpacked holistic wellness but we couldn't ignore the depressing incidents of the previous week; the ongoing GBV & femicide in SA that continues to rob women of their breathing room. So, we held space to unpack that too.

Here’s to creating rooms where we can all breathe freely! 🌬️ by @_nychii

"Wise Woman" was the opener on 𝗥𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗼 𝗖𝗖𝗙𝗠 𝟭𝟬𝟳.𝟱 on 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘏𝘢𝘳𝘷𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘛𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 segment with the lovely Ntsiki this past Saturday, as she dove into the topic of 𝘎𝘳𝘰𝘸𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘋𝘪𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘚𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘰𝘯𝘴.

I like to leave my pieces free to interpretation so that whatever part needs to speak can find its way. But if you are to look into the heart behind it, this is the shortest way I can put it:

𝙄𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙝𝙤𝙢𝙖𝙜𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮𝙙𝙖𝙮 𝙬𝙤𝙢𝙖𝙣 𝙬𝙝𝙤 𝙞𝙨 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙡𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙥𝙖𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨. 𝙃𝙚𝙧 𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚 𝙢𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙗𝙚 𝙜𝙡𝙖𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙨, 𝙗𝙪𝙩 𝙨𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙢𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙨 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙖𝙣 𝙪𝙣𝙖𝙨𝙝𝙖𝙢𝙚𝙙, 𝙫𝙖𝙡𝙪𝙚-𝙡𝙚𝙙 𝙛𝙖𝙞𝙩𝙝𝙛𝙪𝙡𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨. 𝙎𝙝𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙬𝙞𝙨𝙚.

Thank you @ccfm1075 team for having me and giving this piece a home in Cape Town. 🎙️✨
