POSTS STORIES REELS

For years you’ve known me as someone who writes reviews, opinions and stories in corners of the internet.

I finally built a home for them.

Eloquent Chaos is my digital literary house for emotionally intelligent Gen Z Africans.

There are already four pieces on the shelf.

Two are free.

Two cost less than a shawarma.

If you’ve ever enjoyed my words before, welcome home🤗🤗.

Come, carry the chaos.

NO ONE FIGHTS ALONE. ❤️🇳🇬

Today feels like one of those days where everything I love about being Nigerian found its way into the same story.

Black Market. Nigerian women. Storytelling. Cinema. Showing up for what we believe in.

And on Independence Day, I couldn’t think of a better conversation to have.

Part A.

Some friendships deserve an investigation, but unfortunately, we don’t all have the time or the budget. 😭

Let’s talk about performative loyalty. 👀

Some of you are still financing a friendship with memories from 2022. 😭

One good deed, seventeen offences, and somehow you’re the one feeling guilty for wanting peace.

Babe, let’s talk about it.

Have you ever outgrown a friendship but struggled to let go because of what that person once did for you?

A little celebration of Nigerian stories, the women behind them, the people building them, and the joy of watching things we love slowly become real. ❤️

And because today wasn’t already doing enough, @bnxn dropped Still In Charge. 😂

So yes, we’re celebrating @watchblackmarket , The Four: No One Fights Alone @thefour_film , @funkejenifaakindele and good Nigerian music all at once.

We really need to support our home. 🇳🇬❤️

PART B.

We need to talk about love, acceptance, and the things we make people feel they have to apologise for just to be themselves. 🤍

Through Their Eyes by @biodunstephen has a lot to say, and I have thoughts.

Go watch the movie on YouTube @biodunstephentv then come back and read my review. Because sometimes, we need to stop looking at people through our own eyes long enough to see things through theirs.

Would you still choose love if it challenged everything you believed? 👀

Some stories remind you why we watch movies in the first place.

BOWALE was one of those for me. 🤍

Go watch BOWALE on Biodun Stephen’s YouTube channel. Then come back and tell me what stayed with you.

Kudos to everyone who brought this one to life. 👏🏾❤️

Some stories remind you that people are so much more than the worst thing they’ve ever done.

Doing Life was one of those stories for me. 🤍

Tyler Perry really did his big one with this Netflix romantic drama.

I have a lot of thoughts about this one, so I wrote them down.

Go watch Doing Life on Netflix, then come back and tell me what stayed with you.

And yes, we need to talk about those 34 letters. 😭

Second Chances is a slow burn, and no, that doesn’t mean boring. It’s a psychological drama, not a regular drama, and there’s a whole difference.

So... I wrote about it.

Swipe through and see what I mean.

Now streaming exclusively on @the_uchemontanatv 🎬

Congratulations to everyone who brought this story to life🥳🥳🥳

Is there a difference between regular drama and psychological drama? Also do you enjoy slow-burn movies, or do you need more action and drama to stay hooked? by @_olamidemi_

THE LAST HOUSE 🏠🌧️

What happens when home stops being the safest place you know?

This week, I stepped outside Nollywood and into Netflix for a story about survival, family, fear, and the strange things desperation can turn us into.

But that ending? We need to talk😒😒

My thoughts on The Last House are in the slides. 👀

Welcome to Review Wednesday. ❤️

Tonight, we’re making two stops in the Zikoko universe.

One film explores self-worth, situationships and the standards we refuse to lower. The other reminds us that love doesn’t end at “I do.” Sometimes it begins with diapers, difficult conversations and choosing each other on the hard days.

Huge love to @zikokomag , the writers, directors and cast for telling stories that feel real enough to stay with you long after the credits roll.

Swipe through for my full double review. 🎬❤️

Which one are you watching first: Siraam or Before We Fall Asleep?
