Every birthday, i try to celebrate myself in my own little way; whether it’s taking pictures, planning something cute, or just creating a memory i can look back on, i like making my day feel special cos it is actually special

This year was different though, I was very underwhelmed, maybe it was birthday blues, i honestly wanted to keep things really light

…but even with all of that, a part of me still wanted a birthday I’d remember

I’m so grateful because even though I didn’t put much effort into making this birthday memorable myself, my girls made sure it became one I’ll never forget

Vanesssaaaaaaaaa🤍 my queen pioneer, i genuinely don’t know why you love me the way you do, but thank you for celebrating me the way I would celebrate myself, you went above and beyond, and I don’t take that for granted💗

Gbemsss, my girlsssss 🤍 thank you for making out time for me; Precious was like, “You really think I’d miss your day?” she meant afternoon day btw cos ofc girl was still gonna see later and Nife literally said, “It’s your day, why wouldn’t I make time for you?” My heartttt, that’s exactly what love looks like, i could go on and on about each of yall but know that I’m so grateful to have you girls💗

I left this birthday feeling more loved than I expected to

God really has a funny way of reminding you that even when you’re feeling underwhelmed, you’re still deeply cared for
