After some thought I wanted to share a moonshot I have for this year and excited to move with:

If you would like to learn how to be a Music Director or tap into being an MD at your church or for self development I would love to help. This also goes to any of the churches who have an MD and want a little more training.

If you’re interested in learning:
- how to run tracks
- Ableton
- Multitracks
ADDITIONALLY:
- Keys rig & set-up
- Nord configuration, presets & routing
- DAWS (Ableton, MainStage, Logic)
- Resources, etc

If you’re in the Seattle area and would like to meet in person or would like for me to go to your church please let me know.
If you’re outside of the Seattle area we can set up a Zoom video call to answer any questions.

My prayer is that through this I am able to bless and help serve you and your church, to elevate your team into a higher level of musicianship.
Please reach out to me directly if you want more information. by @_oscarjovel_

Moments like these where we flow, have a spontaneous window are one of my favorites as a musician.
Being able to give room to the Holy Spirit and being sensitive to the atmosphere is one thing that should never be replaced. @sidneyybakken you led so strong, you’re gifted!

S/O to todays squad though:

If you run @ableton to run your tracks I would highly recommend utilizing this feature for your team. It makes it so much easier and levitates your instrumentalists from having to tap tempo their delays. This will automate for them when you switch from song to song.
On flowing and spontaneous moments it really comes in handy as signal is coming directly from Ableton.

Full Circle Moment.

Nineteen years ago, I was an 18-year-old kid discovering what God had in store for my life.

This place helped shape me, mold me, and lay the foundation for who I would become—not just as a musician, but as a worshiper. It’s where I discovered my calling. It’s where I encountered God’s presence in a real way, spending countless hours at the piano, practicing, learning, and simply getting lost in worship. Looking back, those moments became some of the most defining seasons of my life.

At 18, I had no idea where God would lead me or what He had planned.

Now, 19 years later, I had the incredible privilege of returning to the place I called home for seven years—not as a student, but with the opportunity to pour back into the next generation. Being able to share even a small portion of what God has taught me over the years, and help build, equip, and encourage their worship team, is something I didn’t take lightly.

I’m incredibly grateful to the leadership for inviting me back and trusting me to invest in their team. It’s a beautiful reminder that God often brings us full circle—not just to remember where we’ve been, but to give back to the places that helped shape us. @arlingtonassemblywashington
