Monday morning traffic on the third mainland bridge can be so annoying.

After 7 hours prayer stretch and Ayo said she wants to use her lip gloss before benediction so she won’t be looking crusty🤣

What if I don’t know what to say in prayer?

We often view our relationship with Jesus (God) vertically, meanwhile, it is supposed to be horizontally-close, near.

What do I mean by this?

We see God as someone far away that we can’t relate to. Jesus is our friend (John 15:13–15; Jesus refers to Himself here as our friend).

He is not difficult to talk to. In the same way you can be with a friend in silence, you can do that with Jesus too.

He is not afraid of silence. You do not have to come with ambiguous words; come with a sincere heart. “A broken and a contrite heart, the Lord will not despise.” — Psalm 51:17.

God is calling us to a place of greater intimacy.
“Today, if you will hear His voice, do not harden your hearts.” — Hebrews 4:7.

Have you been feeling that nudge to pray, and you don’t know how to begin?

Sit with God in silence today. He will meet you where you are and fill you with living waters.
