@visitplymouth challenged us to make a day of it in this vibrant city, and with SO much to do, we were honestly spoilt for choice! 🌞💙

We kicked things off at @theboxplymouth, exploring the powerful @jyll.bradley and Forbidden Territories exhibitions – beautifully curated and an absolute must-visit. 🎨

Next, we wandered through @drakecircus, popping into shops and soaking up the stunning nature-inspired installations in collaboration with @pollenizeplymouth 🌿🛍️

The vibes were high at Saturday Sessions in Old Town Square @plymcitycentre, where we caught the brilliant truefoxes live 🎶 – don’t miss it, it runs the first Saturday of every month!

Ice cream from @pilgrimsicecream and a sunny drink at @admiralmacbride on the Barbican made the perfect pitstop before hopping on the Tamar Link with @plymboattrips 🚤 The views across @plymsoundnmp, the crew, the fun – we didn’t want to get off!

We ended the day with a delicious seafood feast at @thehookandline in @royalwilliamyd – incredible food, buzzing atmosphere, and a sunset to top it all off 🌅🐟

A dreamy day in Plymouth we can’t wait to repeat 💙

THE best smash patty burgers around! Pure burger bliss always🍔🔥

This time we went all out with:
🐷 Pork belly nuggz
🍟 Loaded fries
🧀 Mac n’ cheese
🍗 Hot chicken bites
🍔 🍔Two signature California burgers (Jonny couldn’t resist the double!)

Literally incredible food and always fantastic service! Seeing these guys grow from the Burger Van in the alley in Mutley to where they are now is inspiring!

Cannot wait to go back ❤️🍔 A gem of Plymouth!

A cosy little North Devon escape 🤎🌿

We had the loveliest weekend at @tolverneshepherdshut, and it was the perfect base for exploring North Devon — whatever the weather decided to throw at us!

The shepherd’s hut was so cosy yet surprisingly spacious, with everything we could have needed for a relaxing weekend away. From cosy evenings in to exploring the beautiful coastline, it was exactly the kind of little getaway we needed 🥰

And a special mention to Sabrina, who was such a welcoming and thoughtful host and made us feel right at home.

We had the best time and would absolutely love to come back 🤎

📍 Pennywell Farm Pumpkin Nights | @pennywellfarm

A little taste of autumn at Pumpkin Nights 🎃🍂✨

We had SO much fun at Pennywell Farm — and honestly, you don’t need kids to have the best time!

Picking out pumpkins under the lights, hopping on the illuminated tractor ride, wandering around the photo spots, listening to live music and making the most of all the autumnal feels 🧡

And then there’s the food… cosy fire pits, marshmallows and s’mores, pizzas and hot dogs, drinks in hand and quite possibly the best hot chocolate we’ve had in a very long time ☕️🔥

Such a perfect pumpkin patch with a brilliant choice of pumpkins — we definitely took our time choosing! 🎃

📍 The Camel Trail, Wadebridge | @bridgebikehire_cameltrail 🚴‍♀️☀️

One of those perfect summer days in Cornwall 🌞

We headed to @bridgebikehire_cameltrail in Wadebridge and picked up our bikes for a ride along the Camel Trail towards Padstow. 🚲🌊

With the sun shining, the trail was looking its absolute best 🌾🌊☀️

Bridge Bike Hire made the whole thing so easy. They have a huge range of bikes to choose from, so there really is something for everyone, and being right at the start of the trail means you can just collect your bike and get going! 🙌

We’ve used them before and always love how friendly and helpful the team are! 💛

A seriously lovely way to spend a sunny day with friends — fresh air, Cornish views and plenty of time to just enjoy being outside. 🌞🚲💛

📍Castle Drogo & Teign Valley Gorge, Devon 🍃

One of our favourite walks in Devon… and it’s easy to see why. 🤍

We parked at Castle Drogo and followed one of the many waymarked circular routes, simply following the signs through the Teign Valley Gorge.

Expect peaceful woodland, stunning views high above the River Teign, and plenty of spots you’ll want to stop and take it all in. 🥾🌿

If you’re looking for a walk that combines history, incredible scenery and a real escape into nature, this one deserves a place on your Devon bucket list.

This Cornish hidden gem has to be one of the best places to watch the sunset. 🌅✨

Tucked away beneath the cliffs, Lusty Glaze feels like you’ve stumbled across your own little slice of paradise. Golden skies, crashing waves and that unmistakable summer feeling.

We’ll take evenings like this over almost anything. 🤍

There’s something special about slowing down and seeing Plymouth from a different perspective. 🌊💙

As part of the #StaySalty campaign, we spent the day exploring the beautiful Mount Batten Peninsula, starting with the Heritage Trail before making our way to the iconic Mount Batten Tower. 🏰

Along the trail you’ll discover stories from Plymouth’s rich maritime past, while soaking up incredible coastal views at every turn. Finishing at the tower, you’re rewarded with panoramic views across Plymouth Sound, making it easy to see why this is one of our favourite spots in the city.

Whether you’re looking for a peaceful coastal walk, a little local history or simply somewhere to enjoy the sea air, Mount Batten is well worth a visit this summer.
