✨ Welcome To Our Home Renovation Journey! ✨

Hey everyone! We’re Nat & Chaya - owners of a 1912 two-bedroom character home, filled with charm, quirks, and two slightly chaotic humans (that’s us 🤪).
We’ve created this account to document our adventure as we transform our old beauty into a modern-meets-vintage home, honouring the original features while adding our own modern touch.

Before we dive into the DIYs… here are 5 facts about us to help you to get to know us more:

💍 Nat proposed to me on the same day we got the keys! 10.10.2025
💚 Our favourite colour is green, so you’ll see a lot of it around the house.
🔨 Nat’s a full-time builder & I’m a full-time nanny - so renovations will be happening after work and on weekends (send coffee ☕️).
🏡 We’re first-time buyers and homeowners, learning as we go!
💸 We’re on a budget, so it’s mostly DIY and a lot of creativity (and a lot of Nat’s builder skills!)

We can’t wait to share every step - the wins, fails, and all the magic (and mess) in between.

1 year at Number 135 & 1 year as a fiancée🏡🔑💍

LOTS of house renos, our engagement party, wedding venue viewings, our little cat Obi joining us, holidays, my 25th & Nat’s 26th birthday celebrations, our first Christmas in our home, new jobs, starting a business, insane amounts of dust, finding out I’m pregnant, our gender reveal, and now preparing for the arrival of our baby girl🥹…
