$Paralogues will share an excerpt from a work-in-progress sound lecture performance at the closing event of Plant Stories, curated by Andrea Goetzke and Lina Brion, on the 4th October at ZK/U. The day long event starts with a workshop at 3 pm, by Sina Ribak (and sound contribution by Ellie Wilson), continues with a lecture performance by Minh Duc Pham at 5:30 pm, and finishes with a dinner and plant stories, starting at 7 pm. Paralogues will be one of the contributors of Dispersal - with contributions by: Andrea Acosta & Ece Eldek - Mourning Flora Gilly Karjevsky - Post-nature - Plants, Places and Bodies Fariba Fazeli / space2groW - Ancestral Wisdom and Resistance. Lauw examines the present, woven with unfinished, fragile and fluid identities, and its potential for transformation. 🌿 Sprouting Ties - a performance and installation @musamattiuzzi muSa michelle mattiuzzi works across a range of media and modalities —often with the body and voice—to address presence, physicality, and communication. 🌿 Abolition Garden: Engaging with organic matter and archival critique, the work reimagines Black life beyond the constraints of colonial narratives and systems of classification. Paralogues play at miniLab 11 welcomes Paralogues on 3 September.

The next edition of miniLab brings more sonic experiments, always with great improvisers, this time with Edith Steyer (clarinet,sax) in a solo set, guitarist and miniLab organizer Laura.aLL (guitar, electronics_solo set), and the duo Paralogues (Korhan Erel & Tuçe Erel, ambient).

As usual, we close the evening with an improvisation featuring all the musicians of miniLab 11.

Paralogues – a family business for ambient music and discursive performances
Tuçe Erel is an established curator and art writer with a weakness for plucky, resonant sounds. Korhan Erel is an electronic musician with a weakness for weird sounds. Together, they are Paralogues (formerly FitFot), a family business for ambient music, where plucky sounds, weird textures, and abstract storytelling allow room for the audience’s imagination. Paralogues was formed in the summer of 2023 and performed at NOVILLA and Kookoo in Berlin.
