Burnout 💀

@yardworksglasgow huge congratulations on 10 years. Your hard work really shows.

Honoured to paint such an incredible spot and push new ideas at scale. This is why festivals like this matter, they genuinely push for and support creativity!

Here’s a snippet of the process, I will share more about the wall when the final shots drop.

Reverie 🌊🌿

Last week I completed my largest mural to date 25.5 meters tall, 225 square meters and 10 days consecutively of painting to complete.
Funnily enough I didn’t actually know it was my biggest mural until half way through painting it 😅.
Painting huge walls like this is an absolute dream, I live for it and have enjoyed every second [apart from getting out of bed each morning haha]
This wall is inspired by the local Sheffield canal systems, named reverie - a daydream a moment to get lost in what’s around you.

This wall is created with @visitsheffield for The Festival of The Outdoors @theoutdoorcity and is also there to support mine and @neckofthewoodstudio new venture of @lickofpaintfest which will be happening next year. Hopefully it will be a kick start to many new murals in Sheffield <3

Photos from my latest wall at @pulpafestival

This painting was inspired by the idea of reconnecting with your inner child.
Over the past few years, I’ve had many conversations with artists about how doing so opens up a creative space in your mind.

I’ve always felt that @kitsunejolene’s headphones visually captured this feeling✨
We would stick gems and glitter stars onto our accessories. A reminder that life is about play, and that playfulness feeds creativity 🫶

Effy, @enso.enso.enso’s and @mhairidotjoy daughter are also in this painting
I haven’t had many children in my life until recently, but it’s been wonderful to watch the kids around me now and how imaginative and free they are ❤️

Some real costs in street art, i'm sure a lot of artists and self employed folk can relate

I think about this quite a lot especially when I'm working on major projects. I do hope that I get to paint as long as possible

My top tip - the gym 🥲

Glory days

Me and @eve_bracewell finally got to our Collab painted in Sheffield and eve putting her stamp on things all the way from Australia!

This wall was certainly a conversation starter from some people not sure how they feel about pigeons to people being die hard pigeon fans telling us stories about the racing club in Sheffield, to 32 medals being awarded to pigeons and just to going out to feed them

We loved every conversation we had it was a super fun piece to talk about as big pigeon fans ourselves

Big up to @friends.ofscc got the amazing spot in town

Cultivating culture. From the ground up. 🌿🏙️

As @theoutdoorcity, Sheffield’s relationship with nature shapes far more than its landscape. With 61% of the city made up of greenspace and a third of the city located within the Peak District National Park, the outdoors has long inspired the people who live, work and create here.

For the final film in our UK City of Culture 2029 Bid series, we explore how Sheffield’s unique environment influences its cultural identity, speaking to creatives whose work is inspired by, connected to, or rooted in the outdoors.

A huge thank you to street artist @_peachzz_, sculptor @andrewvickersartist and @frit_happens from Sheffield Adventure Film Festival for sharing their stories and perspectives.

And then the sun came out ☀️

Huge shout out to @artscape_festival for having me come paint in beautiful Sweden again.

Honestly the last week has felt restorative, more than anything else!

The nature here is just incredible and I'm so happy to say that I found that king fisher in real life while me and @astridlinneaa went wildlife watching 🫶

Such a wholesome week thank you everyone for the kind words while I was painting this wall

Hopefully I can return again soon taken in The Tannery Club by @_peachzz_

Trust the process ☀️

The painting process comes in waves of highs and lows, here's a little reminisce of last week's painting with @artscape_festival ➡️➡️➡️

Day One

Everything always goes wrong on day one and usually I consider it a write off but I managed to get my grid up and some outlines.

My technique at the moment for using a doodle grid is to try and sketch it up similarly to how the piece is going to look in the final result.

I find it saves a lot of painting over and it's good practice to train your brain for scaling up ☀️

Also day 1 Managed to get some filling in on the 1st day too! Although I felt I fumbled this a lot and stopped...

I usually make myself stop painting when I start painting badly and don't try to push through because for me it rarely gets better 🫠

I try to take note of what the painting is telling me

Sometimes stopping and taking some notes is much faster than painting and having to repaint it the next day

Day 2

I started getting in the details for the head, it felt like another slow day but it's hard to remember that when you're painting small details.

Things will take much longer, and this was the focal point of the wall. I also had to fix some things from the day before.

Day 3

came in full force and I got into the swing of the mural. I also switched from podcasts the drum and bass so I think that helped...

I always forget how quick it is to fill it texture and fur

I knew the end was in sight and I could also see it coming together.
I find that when you start filling other parts the rest of the wall just starts to make sense.

Day 4

Finished! The bottom bit was much faster to fill in with all the bokeh lighting

I then went and fixed up all the things I wanted to and added some extra drama with the water

Morocco > London - final shots

Inspired by our trip to Morocco, this mural blends images I captured from the warm glow of lanterns to the vibrant textures of the souks, and the rich colors drawn from the country’s crafts and landscapes.
My goal was to create something that felt authentic, reflecting how I felt and experienced during the trip, while also paying tribute to Morocco’s cultural heritage, history, and atmosphere.

At the same time, I wanted to keep the piece true to my style, keeping it bold and energetic that feels right at home for this space here in London.

The lion serves as an anchor of the mural, symbolising the Atlas Lions, the nickname of Morocco’s national football team, embodying pride and strength. This was a key element of the brief, as it ties in with the AFCON football tournament taking place this year in Morocco!

Thanks to @tripadvisor for making this happen!

And a big shout out to @blankwalls__ for bringing me onto the project, leading the inspiration trip in Morocco, and production support in London 🙌

Zephyr🪶

Final shots of my wall for @streetartfestivalfrauenfeld

The piece reflects the biodiversity of Switzerland, showcasing the Edelweiss an incredibly unique flower that is also the national flower and the Red Kite which Frauenfeld's sky's are filled with.

It was inspiring to see the kites flying above while I was painting. One had even graced the skies as I finished which filled my heart and reminded me why I love painting wildlife pieces.

Thanks again to @streetartfestivalfrauenfeld for having me it was amazing visiting Switzerland for the first time it's truly magic
I hope I get to come back soon 🫶
