The Cologne Northern Soul Club shortens the time until the next Cologne Soul Weekender and invites you to a very special Alldayer on German Unity Day, 03.10.2026, at Bumann & Sohn in Cologne-Ehrenfeld.

From 2 PM to 10 PM, the large covered outdoor area will come alive with the unmistakable sound of Northern Soul, Rare Soul and Modern Soul – played loud, proud and full of heart. Expect a full day of dancing, connection and pure energy under the autumn sky. A place where faces light up, friendships are rekindled, and new ones are made on the dancefloor.

Come together, share the vibe, catch up with old friends and lose yourself in the music. Soul music, sunshine feelings and unity – exactly how it should be.

On 14.03.2026, the Cologne Soul Weekender Chapter 2 alldayer came alive at Die Wohngemeinschaft! Vinyl lovers hunted for rare finds at the record market, scooter fans enjoyed Lambretta test rides, and the sold-out reading with Eddie Piller, Tobi Dahmen, and Martin Ollmann kept everyone hooked. Twelve amazing DJs kept the energy high all day – George Rodriguez, Andy Smith, Kieron “Taz” Robathan, Ashley Fellows, Magnus Räms, Ethan McDermott, Fräulein Taube, Gerd Baum, Michael Wink, Leo Ernst, Matthias Ting – and of course, our resident Michael Peltzer. Michael Peltzer – Artist & Resident DJ & Member of the Cologne Northern Soul Club

Michael Peltzer is a Cologne-based DJ and artist with deep roots in the music scene that stretch back to 1989. His journey began with a passion for collecting Hip Hop records, which soon expanded into Funk, Soul, and Jazz as he delved into the origins of the beats and samples that fueled the genre. By the late ’90s, a chance encounter with a Northern Soul tape ignited a lifelong obsession with the genre, making Soul the central theme of his musical exploration.

Michael’s early DJ career took off during his university years, with one of his first major gigs at the legendary Luna Bar in Münster. Since then, he has graced the decks at countless iconic venues and events, including Soul City Cologne, the Two Men from L.I.N.Z. Mod Weekender, Bristol Northern Soul Club, Soul Seven HH, Soul of St. Pauli HH, the Nürnberg Soul Alldayer, and the Cologne Soul Weekender and Allnighter.

His sets are a vibrant and eclectic blend of Rhythm & Blues, Soul, Funk, Modern, Latin, Rocksteady, Beat, Jazz, and Psych—always driven by the groove. For Michael, the groove is everything; it’s what captivates the crowd and keeps the dancefloor moving.
