A day in the life as a grad student and content creator living in Canada. It’s always beautiful to capture moments of your life even if you never share them because they can be transient and easily washed away.

Imagine a pregnant woman set to deliver a baby, the midwife says ‘Push’, the expectant mother pushes with everything she’s got but the baby in the womb crosses its arms saying ‘I’m not ready, you can’t rush me.’ That’s the story of Back Home. My first film; the directorial debut that refused to debut, shot in 2020, (went on to direct 2 other projects) but conceived in 2022.

A big thanks to @rtffest for selecting the film to screen at the festival, grateful for everyone who showed up to support. Slide 3 was the highlight of the day @olabode_izy said “Your film is speaking to me …” My heart is full and I’m encouraged to do more.

P.s : Emmanuel, forgive me for Slide 4, you’re blurry but I’m not.🌚
