📖 Love is Not Child's Play by @sunjeevbhatia

This book felt refreshing because of its play format, which made the story feel lively, immersive, and almost like watching the characters perform right in front of me. What I loved most was how naturally it explores love, friendship, family, and emotional growth through Satbir’s journey. His bond with Mimi is warm and heartwarming, while friendships and relationships add depth to the story without ever feeling exaggerated. 🤍

The romance is written with honesty and maturity, showing that love is about understanding, patience, and growth rather than grand gestures. Every character contributes something meaningful, making the story feel balanced and emotionally engaging. 🌸

The writing is simple, relatable, and easy to connect with, allowing the emotions to shine through effortlessly. Overall, this felt like a thoughtful and heartfelt read about relationships, self-discovery, and the many bonds that shape who we become.

📖 Tidbits by @sunjeevbhatia

This book felt like a quiet pause from the noise of everyday life. Set against the peaceful backdrop of Coonoor, the story gently unfolds through Khalid’s reflections on family, memories, love, and the emotions we often leave unspoken. What I loved most is how the diary-style narration makes every moment feel personal and intimate, almost as if you're reading someone's cherished thoughts. 🤍

The relationship between Khalid, his wife, daughter, and his distant son adds a beautiful emotional depth to the story. Even the simplest moments carry warmth, nostalgia, and a sense of longing that feels incredibly relatable. The writing is calm, reflective, and filled with observations that make you slow down and appreciate life's little moments. 🌿

As the story progresses, an unexpected turn adds intrigue while still preserving the book's gentle and emotional core. Thoughtful, heartfelt, and quietly moving, this is a lovely read for anyone who enjoys reflective stories about family, memories, and the beauty hidden in ordinary moments.

📖 You Can't be Serious by @praj_hegde

This book felt like such a warm and comforting romance with just the right mix of humour, emotions, and slow-burn chemistry. What I loved most was the dynamic between Aaditha and Vedveer; their North-meets-South contrast, playful banter, and growing connection made every interaction feel natural and enjoyable. Aaditha is ambitious, independent, and easy to root for, while Vedveer is genuinely caring, supportive, and impossible not to swoon over. 🤍

The royal backdrop adds a fun charm to the story, with palace drama, family expectations, gossip columns, and plenty of chaotic moments keeping things entertaining throughout. At its heart, though, the story is about two people learning to understand, respect, and support each other while staying true to themselves. 🌸

The writing is light, engaging, and easy to get lost in, making it a perfect comfort read. Sweet, heartwarming, and filled with lovable characters, this is the kind of romance that leaves you smiling long after you turn the final page. 💕

📖 Confused Curiosity by @author_ma.ya

Some love stories feel comforting. This one feels unsettling in the most honest way possible. Confused Curiosity explores love, trauma, spirituality, and emotional chaos through Dhruv and Arti, two people carrying wounds they don’t fully understand themselves. Their connection isn’t written like a perfect romance, it feels messy, karmic, intense, and painfully human. 🌘

What stood out to me most is how the story treats love almost like a mirror instead of a destination. The book constantly explores contradictions wanting closeness while fearing vulnerability, searching for peace while being drawn toward emotional chaos. The spiritual and philosophical layers, mixed with Bengali culture and the emotional atmosphere of Durga Pujo, give the story a very unique depth.

I also loved the symbolic chapter titles and the creative concept of Shiv and Krishna observing human emotions from a divine perspective. It added something unexpected and thought provoking to the narrative. The writing feels emotional, reflective, and deeply introspective, making this less of a simple romance and more of a journey through fear, healing, identity, and self discovery. Some books entertain you for a while, but this one quietly stays in your mind long after the final page. 🤍

📖 Unfollow the Crowd review by Nithya Natarajan

This book feels like a thoughtful and genuinely helpful guide for both parents and teenagers navigating important career decisions. What I appreciated most is how it encourages self discovery, curiosity, and understanding rather than focusing solely on expectations or conventional career paths. It reminds readers that choosing a career is not just about success, but also about understanding strengths, interests, and personal aspirations. 🤍

The writing is simple, clear, and well organized, making the ideas easy to follow and apply. The use of practical insights, relatable examples, and real life situations keeps the book engaging while also making its lessons feel relevant and meaningful. Rather than offering one size fits all advice, it encourages open conversations and thoughtful decision making between parents and children. 🌸

One of the strongest aspects of the book is its emphasis on communication, trust, and support. It highlights how parents can become guides rather than decision makers, helping children discover paths that truly align with their abilities and interests. The message feels encouraging, balanced, and empowering for both generations.

Overall, this is a valuable and insightful read that promotes understanding, confidence, and informed career choices. I genuinely feel it is a book that can benefit many families by helping them approach career planning with greater clarity, patience, and mutual respect. ✨

📖 Mohalabia by Sadiya Abdunasir

This poetry collection feels quiet, heartbreaking, and deeply human all at once. Through simple yet emotionally powerful poems, it gives voice to children whose lives have been shaped by war, loss, and uncertainty. Each poem carries a sense of tenderness that makes the emotions feel incredibly real, capturing moments of innocence, longing, fear, and resilience with remarkable sensitivity. What stayed with me most is how the writing never feels overwhelming, yet every word leaves a lasting impact. 🤍

The imagery throughout the collection is vivid and deeply moving. The poems paint intimate portraits of childhood interrupted, preserving memories, dreams, and emotions that deserve to be remembered. Alongside the grief and sorrow, there is also a quiet strength woven into the verses, reminding readers of the resilience of the human spirit and the hope that continues to exist even during unimaginable circumstances. 🕊️

What makes this collection especially powerful is its ability to transform real experiences into poetry that feels both personal and universal. The emotions are raw, honest, and beautifully expressed, allowing readers to connect deeply with the voices behind the words. More than just a book of poems, it feels like a space that holds memories, stories, and humanity with great care and compassion.

Thought provoking, emotional, and unforgettable, this is a collection that lingers in the heart long after the final poem, encouraging reflection, empathy, and a deeper appreciation for the strength found within vulnerability. ✨

📖 Meenakshi by @gosa_tharani

This story quietly unfolds emotions, love, self discovery, and inner strength in a way that feels both natural and comforting. From the very beginning, there is a gentle warmth to the narrative that slowly draws you in and makes you emotionally invested in the characters and their journeys. What I appreciated most is how the story chooses honesty over drama. The relationships feel genuine, the emotions feel authentic, and every interaction carries a sense of realism that makes it easy to connect with. 🤍

The central character is beautifully written, carrying hope, vulnerability, courage, and silent pain all at once. Watching her navigate life's challenges, expectations, and personal desires felt incredibly relatable. The story explores not only romance but also personal growth, resilience, and the quiet process of finding your own voice. It captures the struggle of following your heart while staying true to yourself and your values. 🌸

The writing style is simple, calm, and easy to immerse yourself in, yet it leaves a lasting emotional impact. Some of the most powerful moments come from the quieter scenes and reflections rather than dramatic events. Those moments add depth and make the story feel deeply human.

More than a romance, this felt like a journey of self discovery and emotional healing. It is the kind of book that gently reminds readers about strength, hope, and the importance of embracing who they truly are. A heartfelt, meaningful, and comforting read that stays with you long after the final page.

📖 Dark Secrets of Khushinagar by @shridhar.naik.33

Dark Secrets of Khushinagar by Shridhar Naik is a gripping and emotionally powerful story that explores the harsh realities of slum life in Mumbai. Through the lives of people living in Khushinagar, the book highlights poverty, crime, corruption, and exploitation while also showing the strength and resilience of the community. What I liked most is how realistic and raw the story feels without losing its emotional depth. 🤌🏻

The characters are written with honesty and complexity, especially Sanjeet, whose journey makes the struggles of survival feel very personal and impactful. Alongside the darker themes, the story also focuses on friendship, hope, and the small moments of humanity that help people keep going. 🤍

Naik’s writing is vivid, engaging, and fast paced, making the book both thought provoking and emotionally immersive. More than just a novel, it feels like a strong social commentary on inequality and the lives society often overlooks.

📖 On Ills and Crime by @shridhar.naik.33

On Ills and Crime by Shridhar Naik is a powerful and thought provoking collection of short stories that explores the darker realities hidden within society. Through twelve emotionally heavy narratives, the book touches on issues like child exploitation, abandonment, crime, and the silence people maintain around suffering. What I liked most is how realistic and emotionally grounded the stories feel without becoming overly dramatic. 🤍

The writing style is simple, direct, and deeply impactful, making every story easy to read while still leaving a strong emotional effect. The characters feel flawed, human, and believable, which makes their struggles even more heartbreaking and relatable. Some stories are sharp and unsettling, while others unfold more slowly, giving readers time to absorb the emotions and deeper social commentary. 🌿

Overall, this is an intense, emotional, and socially relevant read that forces readers to reflect on uncomfortable truths. A gripping collection that stays in your mind long after finishing it.

📖 From Street to Corporate by @shridhar.naik.33

From Street to Corporate by Shridhar Naik is a powerful and emotional story about survival, resilience, and transformation. Through Mohsin’s journey from the streets of Kolkata and Mumbai to the corporate world, the book explores harsh realities like child exploitation, poverty, abuse, and the struggles faced by vulnerable children in society. What makes the story so impactful is how raw and realistic it feels without becoming overly dramatic. 🤍

The writing is simple, fast paced, and deeply immersive, making Mohsin’s experiences feel incredibly vivid and real. I especially liked how the author contrasts the glamorous image of big cities with the painful realities hidden beneath them. Alongside the emotional weight, the story also carries hope, showing how determination and opportunity can slowly change someone’s life. 🌿

Overall, this was a gripping, thought provoking, and emotionally heavy read. It not only tells Mohsin’s story but also highlights important social issues that often go unnoticed. A powerful book that stays with you long after finishing it.

📖 Am I A Dalit? by @vijhay_author

This book felt heavy in the quietest and most realistic way possible. What starts with a simple act of kindness slowly turns into a deeply emotional story about caste, identity, love, and the kind of trauma that follows people across generations. Vikash and Arundhati’s relationship isn’t written like some dramatic fairytale romance. It feels raw, uncomfortable at times, and painfully human, which honestly made it even more impactful for me. 🤍

What stayed with me the most is how the story explores the idea that even when people leave places behind physically, the emotional weight of society, prejudice, and past experiences still follows them. The shift from Chennai to America adds another emotional layer because even in a completely different country, their struggles never fully disappear. Shiva’s character especially adds depth to the story, showing how inherited pain and identity conflicts quietly shape a person from inside.

The writing feels emotional, reflective, and very grounded in reality. There’s a constant sense of sadness throughout the book, but it never feels forced or melodramatic. More than just a love story, this felt like a commentary on society, family, and the scars people carry for years. It’s the kind of book that quietly sits with you long after you finish reading it.

📖 Sing For Me by @sundarivenkatraman

This book honestly felt like watching a soft Bollywood drama unfold behind the scenes of a reality singing show 🎤

Mili starts off as this shy girl from Chandigarh entering a singing competition in Mumbai, and Vivaan is the man running the show. Their connection was instant, soft, and full of unspoken feelings, but the timing? Absolutely terrible 😭 Miscommunication, media pressure, and wrong choices slowly pull them apart, and trust me, it hurts watching everything fall apart when both of them clearly feel so much.

What I really liked is how the story shows the reality behind fame and reality shows instead of making everything look glamorous. The emotional struggles, public image pressure, and lack of communication made the story feel more real. And Mili’s journey from being insecure and quiet to finally standing up for herself was honestly beautiful to read.

The writing is simple, fast-paced, and super easy to get into. It’s emotional without becoming too heavy, and the second-chance romance angle makes it even more comforting.

Overall, this is a warm, dramatic, emotional romance with longing, heartbreak, and a very satisfying happily ever after 🤍🎶
