Junior season, it’s been a pleasure ❤️

I’m so incredibly grateful for the journey I have been on the past few months. The highs, the lows, the comebacks, it was all worth it. It was worth it because I got to do what I love with the people that I love. So thankful for their support and looking forward to what’s to come. 🤍

TJGA City Champ x6 🥇

70-71 (-2) for the tournament!

The first day I played at Western Hills shooting 70(E) and the second day I played at Shawnee Country Club shooting 71(-2)! I had 7 birdies throughout the whole tournament and was happy to see the putter heating up! Super grateful to compete in this tournament the past 6 summers and thank you to all the people part of @topekajrgolf that make these moments so memorable. Such a fun week of golf! On Monday I played in a TJGA event at Village greens shooting 71(-1). On Tuesday I played at Eagle Bend in a KJT event shooting 75(+3). Thursday I played at a KJT event at Emporia shooting 70(-1). I holed out from 75 yards on a par five which was pretty sick! I was able to take first place in all three events!! 🥇🥇🥇Love these summer days of golf🤍🤍 by @_peyton.wright

What a week it as been!!

Ks junior matchplay is one of my favorite events! I needed a 20ft putt to make the cut with not my best playing in stroke play. Once I started getting used to the course and speedy greens the tables turned. I took down the #1 seed in the tournament being a #16 seed shooting a 75(+3) and took down a #3 seed being +3 through 17. That almost forced a 3 way playoff to move to the championship matches. Putter was super solid, making 6 birdies today! Super proud of my fight this week and loving the process of it all! I went 2-1 on my matches this week and looking forward to the next ⛳️🤍 by @_peyton.wright

Had a great time playing in the @hurricanejrgolf Kansas City Summer Junior Open at falcon ridge! I played a solid first round 77(+5) with some wind and battled the 35 mph wind the second day with some short game learning opportunities! The last two days I’ve played in two tournaments! I got second at the first one and won the second one! Both tournaments were playing around 5700. I recently got a new putter and am loving it. The first day was my first time using it in tournament when I played in a US kids at Paradise Point shooting 79(+7). Missed a couple putts I should’ve made but came back strong on the second day. The second day I played in a TGJA tournament at Shawnee Country Club shooting 75(+2). Super happy to have came away with the win at the @hurricanejrgolf 54 hole Kansas City Junior open. This is my first national tournament and I got the chance to compete with girls all over the country. It was such a cool experience!! The course was playing over 6,000 yards and was able to practice the longer approach shots on every hole. There is so much to take away from this tournament and I’m very excited to keep getting better! Thank you to my parents for being so supportive and thank you to @hurricanejrgolf for such a great tournament! Also thank you to @shirkeygolfcourse for hosting!
