🐎 3.5 minutes of working with Mesquite. No whips, no ropes, just knowing how to communicate with him. This entire sequence is a silent conversation. He changes direction when I ask and approaches once I signal to him that he can rest. He follows without a lead of any kind, just because he trusts me. This kind of work is the most important to me. When it's just me & a horse in the middle of nowhere, we need to be connected & in tune with each other.

(Yeah, he's fluffy. But so am I! And we're working on it.) taken in Woodland Park, Colorado by @_phantom.moon

@fireinthemountains , you have torn me apart yet again.

Stunning, star-bright nights. Blistering, dusty days. Life flourishing, growing, hearts pounding, tears, laughter, joy, sweat, and heart. The whispers of those who've left us. Bears, deer, ravens and magpies, squirrels and songbirds. A burning sun, a guardian moon. Smoke. Old friends reunited, new friends made. We came from everywhere, and left as one heart.

I will see you later!

Watchers.

Sigh.

A view from the top.

An undying love for a burning world.
