POSTS STORIES REELS

*ROARs* by @_phooool_

this piece of mine, titled"4/4" was conceived exactly 5 years ago at this very second.i was toying with the idea of how much weight can an egg hold on it's head.
my mentor and head of department @quddusmirza was so pleased with it,that he asked me to install it in the college at any desired place, permanently.
I still remember his clear words from my jury when he said ,"I want to see pieces that live in my mind even 8,9 ,20,50 years from now,all the other works that you people have shown me,I will forget, but this one is magic,it will be stuck in my head years from now".

medium:4 real eggs and 4 chairs.

happy anniversary to my most favourite and most acclaimed piece,oh dearest 4/4,you were so so very original,oh beloved, you were so fragile that people would be scared to even breathe in your vicinity ,lest you might crumble, crashing down to the floor.
you were a rare beauty.
correction!
YOU WERE THE RAREST OF THEM BEAUTIES!
so real, yet so ephemeral.
like LIFE itself.
at this moment, post war,it reminds me how precious of a gift life is ,and the fact that we need to keep resisting ,for other lives that can't,and those that once wore.
and for those who don't think before taking someone's life ,I urge them with all my might to reconsider their belief system ,otherwise there will be no humanity left .
#alllivesmatter.

wouldn't have been possible without my most underrated and humbly creative assistant @burhan_karim_jaturia;may your future be better than your past in every single possible way.🫂 by @_phooool_

A Love letter to my Iranian brothers and sisters and the spirit of resistance everywhere,

I regard the civilisation and culture of Iran as a boundless wellspring of creativity, and I take pride in both my own heritage and the Iranian one. Our bond with Iran and its civilisation is centuries old.

To my Iranian brothers, sisters and people, I wish to say: in this dark hour, our hearts beat alongside theirs, and we call for this war to be halted at once. Let the artists of Iran go on expressing their art, and let the world become a haven of peace, comfort and devotion, not a place of dread, choked and blackened by the smoke of bombs.
We call for an immediate ceasefire.

Long live peace!
Long live Iran and the people of Iran!#

My grandmother never finished this story.
Maybe because it was always waiting for someone like me to envision it.
There is an old tale in her village about a bride who disappeared before sunrise.
They only found her bridal pink blouse by the river bank.
Her jewelry kept turning up at weddings though.
She owns the night and has been thirsty for vengeance ever since. by @_phooool_

My 2 cents on metgala26' at 4am by @_phooool_

Been thinking lately why I don’t find people sexy anymore,
Maybe that is the reason I decided to switch from my fuck boi era to the one where I saw intimacy as the real deal.
A few reasons have been pointed out by
@roemagazine but I would continue to find out more ,and write a part two to their article,my first book ,that I am working on ,also sheds light on this aspect tangentially. by @_phooool_
