Saint Hildegard Von Bingen 🫀 adaptation of a self portrait painting, tongues of fire and vision descending from Heaven to her mind. Eager to see this settled and healed in its home. Eclipse seasons blessings.
“I saw a great splendor in which resounded a voice from Heaven saying to me, ‘O fragile human, ashes of ashes, and filth of filth! Say and write what you see and hear”

“Dare to declare who you are. It is not far from the shores of silence to the boundaries of speech. The path is not long, but the way is deep. You must not only walk there, you must be prepared to leap.”

“Glance at the sun. See the moon and stars. Gaze at the beauty of the Earths greenings. Now, think.”

Angel Sigils protective freckle assembly. Hidden in plane sight.
tried my hand at a voice over and could not get the captions to work properly. summary here for context:
we combined cosmetic and ritual tattooing to create a protective and organic freckle pattern design. using the traditional angelic seals of the names of the four elemental Archangels. hand poked initially as a scroll of their names translated into dots from the sigils directly. each dot of this subtle scroll tattooed in a richer tone (color matched to a lone dark natural freckle), and filled in with an organic little smattering of warmer, lighter freckles to fill out the area. all pigments used are Tina Davies vegan and cruelty free perma blend cosmetic tattoo ink custom mixed. cosmetic tattoos have a unique consultation and healing process. this video is for reference of only the first initial week of settling/healing (full healing is 4-6) weeks. by @_phytolacca_

4 day settled pointillism only custom memorial piece for my incredible client and their grandmother in Cyprus. figs. celestial solar and lunar, as above so below. a birth day also a remembrance of passing. wholeness and non linear time. thank you so much to yall for sending me a couple/few hours or days rested photos. with the nature of pointillism only pieces, a short amount of time is a swift balm for the inflammation surrounding each individual dot- revealing the richened final image. i like to call it when it sighs into your skin. if you swipe, the last few slides are freshly finished, which you can see is much different than immediately after completion. (1-4 rested, 5-7 fresh) forever grateful to be trusted with yalls most sacred rituals.
forever hand made. by @_phytolacca_

custom Lovers tarot. so often in tattoos major arcana are depicted in ways not necessarily aligned with the meaning of the cards, or as super literal visual interpretations. none are wrong- but we wanted this card to be genderless and not focused on romantic narrative. Lamoureux in tarot: the blending of opposing forces, balancing inner duality, deep personal alignment and harmony, choice and the freedom to choose. hermetic marriage.
last slides are examples (with second skin derm shield) of how a machine free tattoo settles, nestles and richens after a few hours. often the inflammation around each individual tiny dot mellows, giving a more accurate impression of the image. this is most significant with pointillism only very delicate pieces but relevant to each and every tattoo.
