Paige & I join up with Brandon, Shane, & Tom to become Summer Babes ☀️ tomorrow night! 🌙

Then next week we play an important fundraiser:

- >>>>> & they all are! Immensely proud to be a part of such an obviously selfless community of artists, dreamers, & compassionate visionaries. I don’t think I’ve even heard of a show or artist in months that I care much about doing anything but selling their merch for solidarity, playing their shows as fundraisers. This is an inspiring place to be.

But YEAH Next Friday the spoooky 13th 🎃 we play FULL BAND @ Acadia with a bunch of awesome bands and we’re all just trying to raise awareness and funds for the Immigrant Defense Network. Come on out! 💕

is this a way to say fucc ise? yeah, inasmuch as any moving on and active participation and appreciation of music, art in general, catharsis of the spirit - is an affirmation that we don’t need their influence or interference with our existence: better things are possible, imagine them.

pavement isn’t directly involved with a resistance - they’re not strike anywhere, lol. but they do upend, circumvent and bend norms of the time. lyrically i think there’s an imagist slant that echoes leonard cohen, so who knows what salve is included in your subscriptions to ‘crooked rain,’ results may vary, but this is the gamble interacting with art. the album’s worked for me as periodic reprieve

anyway, show’s free and it’s fun and as has been said - any get-together after a day of resistance allows for decompression and sharing, of tactics, good praxis and laughter- reader’s digest endorsed “best medicine” (holman says they’re out. i say, 🤔

talk with people. touch grass. talk with people about touching grass. i sincerely love and am proud of everyone in this community 💕
