Hello @iacppix members, our next Food Photographer and Food Stylist interest section meeting will be 9/21 at 5:00 p.m. PST. Our guest will be food stylist Christine Tobin, @tobinfood who will discuss the role of food in cinematic storytelling. Her work has been seen in many films, including Tony, the new biopic about Anthony Bourdain; two seasons of Julia for HBO Max; Olive Kitteridge, The Holdovers and Little Women, directed by Greta Gerwig. Her holistic approach to food styling is also captured within over a dozen cookbooks, numerous magazine publications and video projects. She is currently working at America’s Test Kitchen as Senior Food Stylist / Editorial + Digital Imagery where she is redirecting the approach of food for camera. Christine is the proud leader of a team of culinary professionals being trained under her mentorship.  You won’t want to miss the very exciting event with Christine, link to register in profile… by @_plate

Every town has their iconic, cherished restaurants, and in Milwaukee, @threebrothersmke is one of our local treasures. Opened in 1956 by Serbian immigrants Milun and Milunka Radicevic, the restaurant is run today by his grandchildren, Milunka and Branko, who cook every night the restaurant is open. This is Table 15, which offers beautiful daylight, and moody red light later in the night, from the restaurant’s neon sign. I’ve been lucky to photograph the restaurant over the years and this first photo was made for a lovely story by @ann.christenson.75 in the current issue of @milwaukeemag. The second photo was shot for the @nytimestravel . by @_plate
