Aug 29, 2026 - There are some images you take at weddings where the life just jumps out the picture. It’s rare when the entire day of picture making captures that kind of energy. @sio11990 and Kevin’s wedding at @ubcboathouse embodies life with an open heart. They laugh with their mouths wide open and cry without shame. You can’t help but be drawn into their orbit and experience their love from the inside out. This was such a gift to photograph.

Okay but how lucky are we to get to bring a client’s wedding vision to life.

From the initial design and mock-up to planning, prepping, and finally seeing it all come together, watching the florals go from an idea on paper to the finished installation was so special.

And the best part? The final result was almost exactly as it was envisioned in the original design. Every detail, colour, shape, and arrangement coming together just as planned.

A pretty special way to spend a workday…especially when it happens to be someone else’s best day ever.

Wait for it, the part where she points straight at that ring like she still can’t believe it’s real. That same energy carried all the way to the reception at Element by Marriott Vancouver Metrotown, where white drapery, candlelight, and ivory florals set a soft, romantic scene, though there was nothing quiet about how the night actually went. 💍
