I decided to start a video series where I'll be talking about my work in brief, The idea is to have a very simple, honest content that speaks about my work.
I dont know why anyone would want to sit through a 10 min video of me yapping about 'a video art project' lol. I havent really found an answer to that question, but imma do it anyway so pls follow the link in my bio for the whole vid!✨

‘The Strange Case of PepperSalt’ by Pratik Naik is developed as part of the VM Salgaocar Emerging Artist Grant Programme, this experimental video work explores information overload and digital overstimulation through a retrospective look at the artist’s online persona, “PepperSalt.”

Blending personal experience with broader questions of attention, accountability, and our increasingly mediated lives, the work invites viewers to reflect on how constant digital exposure shapes the way we see ourselves and the world around us.

‘The Strange Case of PepperSalt’ by Pratik Naik opens this evening.

Developed as part of the VM Salgaocar Emerging Artist Grant Programme, the work is an experimental video that examines the effects of information overload and digital overstimulation through a retrospective analysis of the artist’s online persona, “PepperSalt.”

Drawing from personal experience while extending beyond autobiography, the project reflects on attention, accountability, and the ways constant exposure to digital media shapes our relationship with ourselves and the world around us.

Noise Journal, a proposition by Pratik Naik, recipient of the VM Salgaocar Emerging Artist Grant 2025

Drop by and spend some time with the work — it’s all about the “noise” we’re constantly surrounded by, and how it shapes what we notice, think, and feel.

No right way to experience it, just come as you are and see what stays with you.
