This project was born out of the passion, carefree spirit and even the ego of three young men who had just left university. It was born from the idea of capturing that moment of uncertainty and instability in our lives through a single word: PREFORMA – that abstract state that exists between the birth of an idea and its realisation. It has always been a personal expression, even before it became a business opportunity. We have tried to express our vision of fashion and, very often, we have done it forgetting about the clothes. We did it because it made us feel good. Because it made us feel freer. Because it allowed us to transform doubts and uncertainties into something tangible, something that made us feel more confident and more united. Today, PREFORMA is taking a break. It is doing so in the knowledge that a project as personal, ambitious and important as this – for all those who have been part of it – deserves the time to develop into something more concrete and structured. Not because it’s over, but because we believe this is the best way to honour its journey. Over the years, many people have believed in us, sharing their time, talent and energy, and it is to these people that we want to say THANK YOU. by @_preforma
