Plants are a constant reminder that growth is a process. One day you can be down bad, holding onto what life you have left, but your leaves/flowers WILL bloom again. Sometimes you need silence, peace, time, understanding, determination that you will get thru the cold storm. The Sun will come out again. You’ll look back and say wow, look how much I’ve grown.

Today I post this video to hold myself accountable and to have a visual of the growth the next year will bring me. I’ve grown so much in the past year and I’m grateful for all the lows. A year ago I was working waaayyy too hard for people for less than my worth, and the saddest part is I KNEWW I deserved more. I put others dreams before mines, had no personal time and was expected to be “friends” with people that I truly didn’t align with. My purpose in life is no one’s business but mines !! My life is for me and my ancestors who prayed to be in positions I’m in. To wake up to silence, to work in a yard that’s mines, to use my free will as I see fit. I stand here a year later grateful for my free time and to be away from any narcissistic management/family or acquaintances. I refuse to not hold myself to the highest standard and stand tall for myself. I am a Queen and the way I treat myself will show that. Cheers to a year of restart and growth, forever proud 💎

What a difference a year can make, truly blessed to be able to control my time and peace. Turned 30 and immediately the universe showed me what WASN’T for me ! Taking time to reflect is my favorite pass time, and this past year hit me differently. I STAND tall blessed for how the past year rocked me because now I am SITTING here today relaxing with not a care in the world, moving on my own time and in control of my life and emotions.

Cheers to growth and self reflection, to moving and grooving to my own beat and walking tall in who I know I am.

Photo dump ✨
So much growth in 2025, blessed to be able to always land on my feet. I was soooo stressed out at the beginning of the year from everything, but especially work/personal life balance. The universe has a funny way of showing/pushing you in the direction you should be in. I genuinely knew the situation I was in couldn’t be my life forever, I was gaining weight, skin breaking out, hanging out with cra*khead coworkers and manager and making a fool of myself trying to make someone else’s dreams come true smh and instead of doing something about it, the universe revealed to me where I should have been in the first place. Never stay in rooms too long that you KNOW you’ve outgrown. Never shrink yourself to fit in anyones box. Never let someone dangle something over your head to belittle you and ALWAYS BE TRUE TO WHO YOU ARE!

As an ever evolving sign. Things will always work out for me. Life is beautiful and I’m happy to shine in it. Here’s to peace, new beginnings and most of all MORE WEALTH AND GOOD HEALTH. taken in Peace in My Life by @_prettyhearted
