I'm going to be processing this incredible experience for quite a while. As someone who has gone through so much in my life, it can be hard to accept when good things happen to me. Winning the UpNxt competition @fashionxt , has given me the opportunity to not only grow as a designer, but also a chance to heal. In some cosmic way, it feels like I'm sending love and strength to my younger self, when I needed it the most. I want to say THANK YOU, to everyone who helped make this all happen. From old friends, to new, every step of the way, your support has meant everything to me. I design for connection. From a young age, I would sketch endless collections. The people I showed my sketchbooks to, got to meet the real me. It's been such a long journey, and I am so happy to show you all who I really am, and to be accepted and celebrated for that. First and foremost I would like to thank @titonxt , @kenz.bakker , and everyone a part of the @fashionxt production team, your hard work helps make dreams come true. My team was so incredible and supportive, I could not have done it without you. @szaraaziz , @bluejellyfish.jelly , @looksbylynai_ @kinship_pdx is always there to support me whenever I need it, and I can't tell everyone enough. @ivanvidovic you changed my brand in ways I can never repay you. All the logos, visuals, elevated not only how people see my brand, but how I see myself. @fiveanddiamond you are absolutely incredible. Getting to style in your designs/accessories with my looks, 🤌🤌🤌, I'm so glad I got to rep you. @megsbeautifulu @prometheanhair , both hair and makeup teams showed real professionalism and expertise that brought everything together for everyone. To all of my models, you are just as gorgeous as you are talented. You embodied my personified emotions, portrayed specific characters, and brought life/movement to my designs. 🖤🩶🤍[Limited Product Drop TOMORROW/March 19th!]....This dress started out a year ago, as a birthday project for myself. I decided to give permission to live more authentically. I wanted to celebrate parts of myself that deserved love, through tailor-making this look to accentuate the middle ground of the masculine and feminine parts of me. This year for my 33rd birthday, as a gift to myself, I made two more of these dresses, so that someone else can feel that same kind of love and permission to be authentically themself.
