“Ana Lemlhi F Dnoubi” (أنا الملهي فذنوبي), translated as “I am distracted by my sins,” was written following Morrocan artist Othman Cherradi’s relocation to Paris.

The title, drawn from Moroccan Sufi poetry, refers to distraction, desire, and misalignment. Within this context, it reflects a period marked by distance from origin, loss of direction, and a gradual erosion of creative and personal balance.

The record functions as a four-year archive. It traces situations, relationships, and their residual impact. A recurring tension runs through it: awareness without correction, repetition without resolution.

The material moves toward a point of collapse. No resolution is proposed.
