stealing a @baddogbootblack post idea to be sappy about astrid :)

astrid truly means the world to me, we originally met once at T climb and I was so intimidated by her I didnt say a word to her the entire evening and the entire afters.
who would have known that 2 years later she would become such an important part of my life. a friend, a confidant, practically a business partner at this point. I would have never guessed the work we would go on to do together, or how she would push me to be the best and most honest version of myself.
over the last 2 years ive seen her take over bootblacking in the uk, help educate the london leather scene and help me to bring understanding to trans folk in the scene.
astrid : I said this last time I saw you but I mean it truly, you are so capable, so talented and so wonderful to not only the london scene but the uk in general. I could not have asked for a better representative for us in @international.mslbb .
no matter what happens over this weekend know that all of us are endlessly proud and will continue to be (but you dont have to worry about that cus you are gonna win, im manifesting it and have been since you told me you were running)
go smash it and bring back yet another sash

Seas of change 2 !
a homecoming for @bvtchboots who i continue to be endlessly proud of and im sure I speak for everyone when I say im excited for the following year
an even bigger turn out which i couldnt be happier with - still missed people in the group photo but thats on yall 😌
at multiple points in the night I got to step back and just people watch, see piles of coats and bags, people chatting, exchanging details and planning. thats all I ever want for this community. Connection.

anyway I should stop being sappy, see you all next month :)
