Grimpire Entertainment is bringing its first touring package to Shanty Shack Brewing on Thursday, October 29th, with a haunting night of music just in time for the season of the dead!

Catal Huyuk and Queen Mage are making the regional rounds on their fall Samhain Tour and we've matched them up with two of Santa Cruz's most mysterious and primal ambient song-makers: Øraison and the brainchild of Chase Fraser, Angurgapi.

A Night to Summon the Spirits (or Lay Them to Rest)
As the veil thins between worlds, join us at Shanty Shack Brewing for an evening of ethereal sounds, heavy atmospheres, and haunting melodies. This other-worldly lineup will guide you through the shadows of the Halloween season, blending dark ambient, drone, and heavy sonic, ancestral textures to honor the night.

The Musicians
Øraison
Crafting deep, atmospheric soundscapes that evoke the cold embrace of the autumn moon at night. Their debut album "Ø" can be described as more than music - it is an auditory vision meant to take you through a full story arc. New Noise Magazine calls it "...a haunting, immersive debut," which you will get to experience live at the Shanty Shack!

Catal Huyuk
Drawing inspiration from the ancient Neolithic proto-city, Catal Huyuk induce trances on a foundation of heavy, primordial rhythms, hypnotic drone elements, and ancient folk instrumentation. This psychedelic folk duo aims to stir the spirits with atavistic rituals played on hand made box guitars and minimal drums.

Angurgapi
Conjuring dark, drone-heavy mythologies that blur the line between the living and the dead, Chase Fraser and company have come to help you "navigate the deeper realms of the psyche" with drone flute improvisation.

Queen Mage
Weaving enchanting, melancholic melodies to capture the true essence of the season, Queen Mage perform what's described as "Blackened Ethereal Fairyfolk Metal," blending haunting clean vocals and ritualistic acoustic melodies resulting in what can be characterized as modern, blackened neofolk paeans -- A perfect fit for the season of the dead!

Come early, grab a brew, and settle into the shadows. Let's celebrate the season of the dead together! by @_queenmage_
