As we take the steps to try to close this chapter in our lives, I wanted to share a little bit of our story from hurricane Ian. I can’t bring myself to speak on camera yet, but I know it’s important to get through these emotions one step at a time and that means facing them and trying to move past them. I know it’s going to take awhile and it’s going to be a roller coaster of emotions but I also want to be vulnerable and share these moments on this platform. For those of you that didn’t know, yes we were on the beach and were lucky enough to live through this because many many people didn’t. This was the scariest experience we’ve all been through.The amount of love and support we have gotten is astonishing. I find myself questioning what did we do to deserve all this support and love ironically instead of questioning what we did to deserve this. The answer I believe is continuously starring me in the face. We had faith, we stuck together, we believed that there was no way we wouldn’t make it out of this and for all the times that we were givers to others, that karma has come around 10x. Thank you again and again to everyone that has reached out, checked on us and donated. We love you. Along with my dads home in these videos, we also lost our home, car and belongings. Count your blessings and cherish life. We are slowly taking the steps to rebuild.❤️ by @_quevida_

Putting this together was honestly so fun! I absolutely love this theme, “Seashells & Wedding Bells.” It was so easy to find cute aesthetic gifts and decor to go with it. What a great little happy hour we had for Father’s Day. The star of the show was the “Socks for Pops” table. People love freebies! If you can budget it into the cost, it’s absolutely worth it! Thank you @capriottis for the delicious sandwiches and salads! 🥗 💙 by @_quevida_

Thanks for the stay & upgrade to the ocean suite! 🏝️ Giving Hotel Cabana a solid 7.5! Location location location and price! It literally couldn’t get any better than staying right on the boardwalk, having access to the beach, boardwalk attractions, friendly staff, and one parking spot. There’s lots of food options, shops and the trolly right down stairs. We were also across from the police station which made us feel as ease even though the environment was very family friendly. I do wish the bathroom was a little bigger and the pool was a bit more appealing but I would definitely stay here again! by @_quevida_
