Stopped at COAF then headed to the Aramyants Castle! 🏰 Incredible location and views, incredible architecture and design. Can’t wait for the renovations to be completed!

Michael Aramyants was a of the greatest Armenian philanthropists and entrepreneurs of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Born in Artsakh, he built a vast business empire in the Caucasus through oil, trade, real estate, and finance. He used much of his fortune to fund hospitals, schools, churches, and charitable organizations, including the famous Aramyants Hospital in Tbilisi.

He also played an important role in developing the Baku–Batumi oil transport network and supported Armenian refugees and educational institutions. After the Bolshevik Revolution, he lost nearly all of his wealth and died in poverty in Tbilisi, but he remains remembered as one of the Armenian nation’s most generous benefactors.

Sanahin ⛪️ The Bride of all Armenian churches… Sanahin Monastery dates back to X century and it is a UNESCO World Heritage. Out of all the Armenian churches I’ve had the chance to step a foot in, Sanahin spoke to me differently. It truly has this delicate, beautiful, pure energy that literally describes scripture when it says “the church is the bride of Christ” [Ephisians 5:25-32]. I truly fell in love with this beauty…. #sanahin #sanahinmonastery #brideofchrist #ilovearmenia taken in Sanahin Monastery by @_qyu__
