R2OT z radością prezentuje wystawę indywidualną Krzysztofa Renesa, « Miara niepewności » « Tytuł wystawy odsyła do pojęcia, które w różnych dziedzinach znaczy co innego. W fizyce i inżynierii miara niepewności to liczba zapisana obok wyniku, margines, który można dokładnie określić. Od zasady nieoznaczoności Heisenberga wiadomo też, że w świecie cząstek niepewność wynika z samej natury rzeczy. W naukach humanistycznych nie przybiera ona postaci liczby. Historyk waży wiarygodność źródła i liczy się z tym, że część dokumentów zaginęła albo nigdy nie została zapisana. Psycholog opisuje, jak ludzie podejmują decyzje bez pełnej wiedzy. Jedna nazwa obejmuje więc doświadczenia, które w jednym przypadku da się policzyć, a w drugim tylko opisać. In physics and engineering, a measure of uncertainty is a number written beside a result, a margin that can be precisely determined. Since Heisenberg’s uncertainty principle, we also know that in the world of particles uncertainty arises from the very nature of things. In the humanities it does not take the form of a number. The historian weighs the reliability of a source and accepts that some documents have been lost or were never written down. The psychologist describes how people make decisions without full knowledge. One name thus covers experiences that in one case can be calculated and in another only described. It combines „kana”, which can mean melody or beauty depending on the characters used, and „ko”, child. Child of melody, child of beauty. This contemporary ceramic totem is hand-painted and set on a marble base. Its surface is smooth and almost matte, with no trace of the brush. A sculptural statement piece for collectors of contemporary art, and a quiet focal point for interiors that value craftsmanship and refined, minimal objects. ✨ taken in R2OT by @_r2ot_

Przejść przez tę wystawę to przypomnieć sobie, że już bardzo wcześnie człowiek odczuł potrzebę przedstawiania, naznaczania, tworzenia. Ta potrzeba nigdy naprawdę nas nie opuściła. Trwa, po cichu, jako pragnienie stare jak my sami. « Trzynasty Miesiąc » Agnieszka Rowińska Według jednej z hipotez dawni Słowianie mierzyli czas fazami Księżyca i mogli liczyć o jeden miesiąc więcej. Tytuł obrazu odsyła do tej właśnie hipotezy. W „Punkcie i linii a płaszczyźnie” Kandinsky pisze, że linia rozciąga się w czasie, a punkt jest poza nim. Ta praca oddaje doświadczenie czasu, w którym pomiar traci znaczenie. Zapraszamy was do odkrycia tej pracy podczas wystawy „Cicha Świątynia Materii” w galerii R2OT na Wilczej 2/4, lokal 5. —— « The Thirteenth Month » Agnieszka Rowińska According to one hypothesis, the ancient Slavs measured time by the phases of the moon, and may have counted one month more than we do today. The painting’s title refers precisely to this hypothesis. In Point and Line to Plane, Kandinsky writes that the line extends through time, while the point stands outside it. This work renders an experience of time in which measurement ceases to matter.
