To the people that make the place…

There truly is nothing like Fish Camp, and I can attribute that entirely to the people who have shaped this experience. From not attending as an incoming freshman to being blessed with the opportunity to serve as a counselor for the past three years, it’s a testament to just how special and unique this organization is.

Each year, Fish Camp has somehow managed to become even more meaningful, and this special group that I got to spend my last summer of college with truly takes the cake. From Rev Night to the very last day of camp, they’ve been a constant reminder of why I love fish camp and this university so dearly.

To go from strangers with different stories, personalities, and backgrounds to becoming a family unlike any other is what makes this place so special. This group will always have a place in my heart, and I’m incredibly grateful to spend my final year at A&M alongside them.

Thank you, Camp Taunton, for giving me people I’ll cherish for a lifetime. You all mean the world to me, and I hope these past few months are only the beginning of many more incredible memories together long after college. Fish camp does change lives, and it has changed mine.

You can never love people as much as you can miss them…

Thank you @peeldaburn for giving me friends that feel like family. You all have had such a profound impact on me and I can’t thank you enough for that. You are all so deserving of the same love and kindness that you have poured into me. Consider this as an informal invitation to my wedding because I don’t want this to end after college. Thank you for giving me memories and experiences that I can tell my family about for years on end.
