I love swimming with my whole heart.

This sport has carried me through some of the darkest and most challenging moments of my life. It has been my escape, my comfort, my purpose, and my constant when everything else felt uncertain. From early mornings and long practices to the pressure, anxiety, and sacrifices that come with competing, swimming has shaped me into the person I am today. It has given me opportunities beyond anything I could have imagined, but more importantly, it has given me lifelong friendships, and unforgettable memories.

Swimming taught me that growth comes from showing up even when it’s hard. It taught me resilience, discipline, and gratitude. Every day I get in the water, I’m reminded not to take my able body for granted and to appreciate the privilege of doing something I love.

A piece of my heart will always belong to this sport, with that being said Captain Raven has officially come to terms with her retirement 🤍 by @_raven.r

Do it exhausted from practice. Do it grieving between classes. Do it heartbroken after losses no one could see. Do it anyway. This one’s for my mother Kim. 🤍
My mom taught me what strength looks like long before college ever tested me. Even through grief, I carried the example she set
commitment, resilience, and grace. This one’s for her.
