Here is something special! 1940s Tachi Castillo, Taxco Mexico heavily sequined dress. Tachi Castillo has an interesting history and according the Vintage Fashion Guild she was the sister of the famous Taxco Mexican silver jewelry designers. She went into designing clothes and sold her first dress in her brother’s Taxco gift shop. Her clothes were worn by movie stars such as Joan Fontaine, Lana Turner and Brigitte Bardot as well as Freida Khalo and princess Ann.
This dress has an Aztec print and is covered with shimmery sheer gold sequins. It has a back metal zipper with a hook and eye. The skirt is beautifully flared and longer in the front.
This is in excellent condition with no issues.
The measurements are:
36-38” bust
27” waist
16.5” bodice
31” waist to hem

Hand painted kachina doll skirt. This is a cram color cotton with hand painted kachina dolls around the bottom. It has thin ties that tie inside in the front and longer ties that tie in the back. Similar to a Mexican skirt. The skirt has a wide 2.5” waistband.
This is in good condition. It has a faint spot by the side seam and a small spot near the hem in front.
The measurements are:
27-29” waist
34” length including the waistband

Black and silver patio dress with an elastic waist. The fabric is a comfortable cotton gauze. The silver trim really shines! It has belt loops on the sides so it would look great with a fancy belt.
This is in excellent condition with no issues.

26-34” waist, the elastic has lots of stretch
