⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ — Beautiful, funny, heartbreaking… but that ending makes me blue…

My first Ocean Vuong book, and what a beautiful read.

I loved how he described the scenes and brought the characters to life. Hai’s story made me realise how even the strongest, most independent person can still need companionship.

I especially loved his relationship with Grazina, she’s the grandma I never had, and honestly, I wish I did. Some of their scenes were genuinely funny and heartwarming.

I also loved the Vermont journey with his Homemaker co-workers. Ocean’s descriptions made me feel like I was right there with them.

But I struggled with the ending. Hai had people who loved and supported him, so his decision to end his life was too sad for me to accept.

Unwrapping @oliviadeano ‘s The Art of Loving in all its beauty, honest, effortless, and entirely her. No longer trying to fit in, just standing in her own sound. Spinning So Easy (To Fall In Love) as it should be heard.

@beberexha Dirty Blonde, unwrapped.

An album that embraces every contradiction without choosing just one. Dance, pop, vulnerability, and confidence—all existing in the same groove.

A reminder that you don’t have to fit into one version of yourself. 🤍🎶

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Almond by @sohnwonpyung

𝑨 𝒃𝒐𝒚 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒇𝒆𝒆𝒍𝒔 𝒏𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈, 𝒎𝒆𝒆𝒕𝒔 𝒂 𝒃𝒐𝒚 𝒘𝒉𝒐 𝒇𝒆𝒆𝒍𝒔 𝒕𝒐𝒐 𝒎𝒖𝒄𝒉

I enjoy the philosophies and analogies it has to offer, creating a message powerfully delivered. This was the best book I’ve read in 2026 so far. This book showed how children were pre-described by society to meet certain behavior . After all, “𝒉𝒖𝒎𝒂𝒏 𝒃𝒆𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒔 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒂 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒅𝒖𝒄𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒊𝒓 𝒆𝒅𝒖𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏.” And yes book recommendations by @bts.bighitofficial
