HOUSE OF EARTH AND BLOOD 🌙

I need a minute. Actually, I might need to speak to @sarahjmaas personally because WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK DID I JUST READ?!

I loved this entire book. Bryce Quinlan has my whole heart, and honestly if I could be any character in a fictional world, I think it would be her. The way she loves and fights for her people. I absolutely adore her. And Bryce and Hunt? I LOVE THEM TOO😭

But then we get to page 590. I was sitting there thinking YES, YES, YES. I LOVE THIS. And then the next chapter happened🫠 and I genuinely could not believe what I was reading.

And just when I thought my brain might recover, something else happened. And then something else😂

The twists and turns, the who-done-it. The person you think did it. You think you’ve figured it out, only to realise you haven’t got a bloody clue. I was genuinely sitting there like HOLY FUCKING SHITBALLS😭

Sarah J. Maas, respectfully, WHAT?!

This has shot straight up there as one of my favourite SJM books. I honestly think it deserves even more recognition than it gets because the way everything comes together, especially in that final stretch, is just INSANE.

Five stars feels almost inadequate. Six stars might be more appropriate⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐️

I want to scream about every single thing that happened, but I won’t because everyone deserves to experience this book unspoiled.

If you’ve read it, PLEASE tell me you understand. Because I am not okay😂🖤 taken in BOOKSTA by @_readingintothings

Overthinking at its finest😭😂📚

Never had this dilemma before I discovered sprayed edges, so now I can’t just buy a book and read it like a normal person😂

Do I buy the paperback? The sprayed edges? A Kindle? Do I read the pretty books or just admire them? WHY ARE THERE SO MANY THINGS TO CONSIDER?!

Tell me I’m not the only one who overthinks the most unnecessary things🫠 Or is it necessary?!🤣 taken in BOOKSTA by @_readingintothings

Imagine just letting people enjoy things without making it weird😂📚

Anyway, I’ll be over here minding my business and ignoring my real life responsibilities for fictional ones🫠

Which slide are you claiming? 👀

Current read 📖🌙

Holy moly… wasn’t expecting THAT in the first few chapters😭

Just over a quarter of the way through House of Earth and Blood and it’s been a slow start getting through this one… but between home life, sick kids, migraines, and everything else this week, we move 🫠😂

Starting to get into it a bit more now, though, and I’m intrigued to see where this goes 👀

⚠️ SPOILER WARNING BELOW ⚠️

I’m suspecting Sabine 👀 and I have a feeling the Autumn King knows waaaaaay more than what he’s letting on… but I could be completely off the mark😂

Anyone else reading this for the first time, or am I late to the party?

There’s something so magical about reading a book and becoming attached to a place, the people and a life that never actually existed.

And then suddenly you’re sitting there missing it like it was yours🥲📖

It’s one of the best things about books. They let us live a thousand lives without ever leaving our own🧡

Found this little gem on Vinted and couldn’t believe it was signed by the author 🥹 Such a good find!

The TBR continues to grow… but I genuinely can’t wait to read this one 🥹📚

Anyone else constantly buying books despite having approximately 47 already waiting to be read? 😂

One night away and I’ve packed a book the size of a small child🤣

But I obviously had to bring it because what if I get bored for the 14 minutes I’m not doing something😂

Should have bought a kindle👀

400 followers?! Genuinely, what 😂🥹📚

When I started this page, I really wasn’t sure anyone would care what I had to say about books, or whether I’d even stick with it being a secret little account. I think that’s what made it so easy to start. No one I knew was watching (I thought, but some people have found me😂), no pressure, no wondering what people thought… just me talking about the books I love (or don’t) and sharing a tiny bit of my personality along the way 😂

Somehow, 400 of you have found me, and I’ve made some genuinely lovely book besties on here already all over the world and I genuinely didn’t expect that at all🥹

It’s been really nice having this little corner that’s just mine, outside of mam life, work and everything else that comes with being a grown up😂

Thank you so much for being here, for chatting to me, sharing your theories and generally enabling my reading addiction😂🫶🏻

Here’s to more books and more book besties🤍📚

ACOSF — ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I’ll be honest, I was really unsure about this one at the start.

Going from Feyre & Rhysand to Nesta & Cassian was a BIG change in character perceptions for me, and I wasn’t immediately sold. But looking back, I actually think it was necessary. Where else could Feyre and Rhysand’s story really have gone?

Now I completely understand why so many people say this is their favourite.

Nesta’s story is just different. Watching her work through everything, find herself again and build those friendships was honestly brilliant. I can completely see why people love her and I genuinely think there’s a bit of Nesta in all of us👀😅

BUT… I do have one question😂

Does everyone love this book so much because of Nesta’s character development… or because Cassian is Cassian? 👀

Because honestly… I completely get it🌶️🌶️

And after all the initial doubts, I ended up crying at the end. “I love you”, that’s all. So there we have it😅

Five stars and I am officially emotionally attached to these people🥲Reading CC now and then TOG so I can go back to the ACOTAR world when release rolls around💃 PS. Isn’t this song a complete Nesta vibe👀

Are you Feyre & Rhysand or Nesta & Cassian?✨
