Season of the Bitch prompt 1; Batman

Lilim here~ What~? Don't tell me you forgot I'm a shapeshifter~ Tee hee... Well, I thought about 'Batman' for a bit, and realized I should look more 'Bat-like' than a vampire. After all, its not a man-bat. This form allows for... Swifter flight. But I can teleport, anyways. And its harder to hold Arsonal, my trident, this way. We'll keep searching. But great first try! I too love drinking mortal blood, so its something vampires and I have in common.

Introducing The Mako-- Apex Armor!

After the final battle against The Matriarch to stop Judgement Day, Mika's Hero Makosuit was heavily damaged, broken beyond repair. Without any other options, and with The Pestilence tearing their world apart, Dusk was forced to give Mika the prototype for her Makosuit-- The Isurgeus Mark I. The Isurgeus Mark I is stronger, faster, more durable-- but far more difficult to use. And, unlike her Hero Makosuit, the Apex Makosuit isnt made to incapacitate or stun-- it was made to kill. As the undead run rampant, Mika uses her newfound strength to fight and save as many lives as possible, bringing them to The Duskhollow, a safe haven ran by and protected by both Dusk and Mika... But deep down, she knows that as long as Lilim remains, lurking in the shadows, she and all of the survivors in Duskhollow stand no chance. In an act of bravery, and selflessness, Mika agreed to Dusk's proposal, offering herself up to become an immortal. Though she knows this means she will never see her family again in the afterlife, and that she will be stuck to roam this world until the sun burns out-- she is willing to go the distance, and do whatever it takes to save her world. Will the hero triumph over the forces of darkness? Or will humanity's last hope be snuffed out by the eternal queen of death? Only time will tell...

Soul Stamp overhaul!! After a lot of consideration, I decided it was time to make them more interesting-- and so, we have a handful of variations! Soul Stamps and their counterpart-- Ego Emblems. (You'll see Incarnate Shackles soon enough, too ;) )These two types of markings are similar, but have a handful of differences that are VERY important. Firstly, soul stamps!

Soul Stamps: Forged by a curse placed on the Soul Tome, intended to serve as a failsafe in case of a demonborn immortal losing their Ego Emblems. Appearing on a Mortal's right bicep, Soul Stamps indicate that a Mortal's Soul has been permanently bound to and fused with their mortal bodies. While this comes with a set of advantages, it also means that if a Human-turned Immortal will not have an afterlife. Beings with Soul Stamps cannot absorb other souls, and are instead reliant upon their own soul's energy. Fortunately, with time, Soul Stamp bound Souls generate near infinite energy.

Depicted here are Anthiskardia (The Blooming Heart), Ankaimatos (The Bleeding Thorn) and Nikiarias (The Victorious Shark)!

Ego Emblems: Beings born as immortals are bound with Ego Emblems. A curious example of an immortal's marking, The Ego Emblem bares traits of both Soul Stamps and Incarnate Shackles. Born Immortals are able to utilize both their own Soul Energy that slowly compounds over time and souls they capture, allowing for their strength to significantly compile over time. Beings marked with Ego Emblems, however, can be converted into mortals through a very specific and intentional process that involves revoking their own immortalities.

Went to see @nanonano_me and @madkid_official with @cozybluehues last night, they were INCREDIBLE!! Nano has always been a huge inspiration for me and for my artwork, so being able to meet her and give her some of the art she inspired was AMAZING!! Rock on‼️ taken in 1720 by @_redemptionark_

Him. He goes by many names-- The Accuser. The Deceiver. The Devil... And one I refuse to ever utter again. The instigator of the fall, and he who saw himself above the almighty Creator... Yes. Vanity... and Glory... Personified into the Vainglorious one, Lucifer. It was said that he had once been the most beautiful of all angels, one who stood just below The Creator... And yet, he saw himself as truly perfect. More perfect than his creator... And so, with his lies and manipulation, he garnered an army. Though beautiful, he was hideous inside. In the fall... He became truly hideous in all regards. Over the millenia, he has tried countless ways of reclaiming the heavens... By corrupting pure souls, by devouring sinful ones, by... creating souls... He only craves power, and a position that was never rightfully his. He loves no one but himself, not even those who follow him. The world he is destined to create is a terrifying one... I rue the day that he garners the power he needs to ascend.. If he does, may The Lord save us.
