This week was nothing short of transformational.

Every year I leave camp thinking, there’s no way it could get better than this, and then the next year comes around and the Holy Spirit completely blows my mind. I always say, “That was the best camp yet,” but this year was different.

For the past two years, I’ve fought so hard to become the person I am today. Previous years at camp, I poured my heart out asking God to free me from anxiety and depression. Last year, He brought healing. This year, I came with no expectations other than being desperate to know Him more and experience Him in a deeper way.

As always, God exceeded every expectation.

I physically felt His presence and His love. My mind is finally at peace. The constant overthinking, the racing thoughts- they’re gone. I’m finally resting in Him🥹🙌

I’m so grateful I got to be a vessel this week and build such sweet friendships with the group around me. There is truly something so special about Beach Camp: reading the Word with the sound of waves crashing, sand always between your toes, sun-kissed cheeks, and hearing hundreds of voices worshiping and crying out to Jesus together.

But here’s what I don’t want anyone to miss: the same God who met us at camp is with you wherever you are. He’s not limited to a place or an event. You can encounter Him in your bedroom, in your car, on an ordinary Tuesday. All it takes is setting aside the distractions and surrendering everything at the feet of Jesus. It doesn’t have to be perfect, He simply wants your genuine devotion.

I’ll forever be grateful for the freedom I’ve found in Jesus, for the joy, peace, strength, and purpose He’s given me, and for the godly friendships He’s placed in my life.

I don’t walk like I used too. I don’t talk like I used to. I’ve been washed from the inside out. TYJ I’ll never be the person I once was.

I went to impact a community and left transformed by one 🇧🇿❤️

No words could ever fully describe our mission trip to Belize. We came to share Jesus and love on these kids, but somehow they impacted us even more. In the middle of hardship, broken homes, and little resources, they still carry so much joy, faith, strength, and love. They showed me that true joy isn’t based on circumstances, but comes from God.

This trip was so eye opening and completely changed my perspective on life. I’m beyond grateful I got the opportunity to love on these kids and share Jesus with them. Going into this trip, I had no idea what to expect, and now I already can’t wait to go back.

These kids are going to be the generation that breaks generational curses!! They are future leaders and I can’t wait to see all that they accomplish as they grow up.

I also want to say thank you to Children’s Cup for everything y’all do. The impact they’ve made is so evident. The kids knew Bible stories, spoke about Jesus with joy, and every person I talked to expressed so much gratitude for the care point. The women who serve there are incredible. No matter what’s going on in their own lives, they show up every day ready to love and serve those kids. Their hearts inspire me to serve others more selflessly.

Without these care points, some of these children wouldn’t be fed, experience kindness from an adult, or even hear about Jesus. I’m so grateful for everything y’all have done for the kids and for me. Belize will forever hold a piece of my heart!! by @_reesedarby_
