Dear Me,

Happy Birthday.

Today isn’t just another date on the calendar—it’s a reminder that I’ve been given another year of life, another chance to grow, to heal, to love, and to become the person I’m meant to be.

This past year wasn’t perfect. There were moments that tested my strength, days I questioned myself, and nights I wished things were different. But somehow, through every high and low, I’m still here. And for that, I’m grateful.

I’m proud of myself for not giving up, even when I wanted to. I’m proud of every silent battle I fought, every lesson I learned, and every step I took, no matter how small. My journey doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s to be meaningful.

As I begin this new chapter, I choose to be kinder to myself. I choose growth over perfection, peace over pressure, and faith over fear. I won’t let yesterday’s disappointments define tomorrow’s possibilities.

To the people who have loved me, encouraged me, prayed for me, and stood by me—thank you. And to those who walked away or became part of my lessons, thank you too. You all played a part in shaping who I am today.

This year, I pray for open doors, wisdom to make the right decisions, courage to chase my dreams, and grace to embrace every season. I pray for genuine love, meaningful friendships, good health, and a heart that never loses its capacity to hope.

When you read this months from now, I hope you’re smiling. I hope you’ve become stronger, happier, and closer to your dreams than you are today. And if life gets hard again, remember this: you’ve survived every difficult day you’ve ever faced. You’ll survive the next one too.
