‘Life on the road is something I was raised to embrace. Me Ma always encouraged us to open our eyes and our hearts to the world, make up our own minds for experience of being inspired.

slow down. breathe. back to the present - I check my pulse.

nonstop stimulation of modern society
noise.busyness.stress. it all fades…
the stillness allows me to see

my soul laid bare for reality to surface

Exposed /and painfully so/ are the coping mechanisms that have carried me through. That dopamine dispenser I made for myself - a restless relentless lust for more.

determined to settle for nothing less than being fully alive - I fight. breaking free from the false self, waking up to my own soul!

FREEDOM within

This is how it feels to come alive again
most delicious gulp of air you ever breathed
living freely and lightly - more mental real estate for creativity. fully present to the moment, connectedness to God

the test of all happiness is gratitude

what are you fighting for?
how will you live?

go out and do the things you dream about, not simply for a two-weeks’ vacation in civilized and trimmed lands, but for months and years in the very midst of wonder

the only certain happiness in life is to live for others

sharing my days with the Urarina community deep within the Amazon jungle. immersed in their ways of life I come to find such expression of love!
kids were on top of us 24/7, total joy, total hugs, smiles all around to brighten the days!

sharing God’s love!

I’ve heard love described as seeing the beauty inherent in another soul and help them come to see it as well!

love does not keep to itself but rises up and finds those most needy of it. To lay everything down for the one in front of you is a joy unspeakable and full of glory!

life in the AMAZON jungle-

days of days by boat up river to settle amongst primitive tribes. total disconnection. no phone. no concern for possessions - simple living!
stripped from all comfort is where life really begins

welcomed by the locals /pirañas/ with aggressive kisses • coconuts, passion fruit and raw cacao our daily feast • captivating swims with pink dolphins• wisest trees I’ve ever met - 500 years old sirs!
• sloths make for great confidants

meditation abounds
worries buried begin to surface

[my dad has cancer, my mom just diagnosed with cancer again - needs immediate surgery. will she be alive when I come out of the jungle? I just broke my knee - can’t walk]

Jesus. brings Freedom. Healing.
Peace within difficulties

really makes you appreciate life! live from this perspective - the most grateful to be breathing!
because God is good and life is beautiful!

3 months doing life in the AMAZON

This whole creation is unapologetically wild, she embodies the exquisite beauty and the exotic mystery of God

But there’s something else I am really after, out here in the wild. I am searching for an even more elusive prey.. I am looking for my soul.

The true test, the beginning of redemption, actually starts when I can no longer rely on what I’ve used to all my life. The real journey begins when the false self fails.

To recover the heart’s desire a man needs to get away from the noise and distraction of his daily life for time with his own soul. He needs to head into the wilderness, to silence and solitude. Alone with himself, he allows whatever is there to come to the surface.

The soul longs for passion, for freedom, for life

What if those deep desires in our hearts are telling us the truth, revealing to us the life we were meant to live?

After a whole year living off of hotels for my job,, I recently quit my work and have since moved to my car! Leaving behind the comfortable routine; moving towards freedom. Stepping back from our image driven, money centered, unquenchable consumption existence. Stoked for a new season immersed in nature, traveling for a living. Simple, grateful, unhurried. On the road with God and an ukulele cruising California!

‘Inundated on all sides by screens, entertainment options, outlets for curating a fabricated image of our lives, we are distracting ourselves into spiritual oblivion.

We live in a world of normalized digital addiction which anesthetize us.

The endless dopamine drip feed of new information have so dulled our attention spans that we are not able to enjoy even a single meal without our itchy twitching fingers stabbing at a touch-screen display.

We are no longer able to be present nor live intentional and are giving away our most valuable possession, time. Free yourself from the drain of digital vortex and start living!’
