Today was my daughter’s first ever Valentine’s Day gift, and I wanted to be the first. The first person in her life to show her what it feels like to be truly appreciated, cherished, and celebrated,before anyone else ever gives her flowers, chocolates, or notes.

She should know:
• She is enough.
• She deserves love that uplifts, respects, and celebrates her.
• Love starts at home, with the people who have loved her from the very beginning.
