growth comes in ways we don’t expect. pain being one of them. i can’t say im grateful for the disappointments while they happen. but i’m who i am today because of the good and the bad. Jesus has made every painful moment in my life worth it. the things i did to myself. the things i didnt ask for. i don’t know how people live without His eternal hope. i could not keep going. i would have given up, many times on a count of my weakness. i’m weak. but He is strong. 🌹— my trip to jamaica was an answer to a prayer i prayed last fall. i know there are people who travel all the time and everywhere. but for so many reasons, seen and unseen, this trip felt like it wasn’t going to happen. i’ll talk about that later🫶🏾. my Heavenly Father knows me. and with my head down, eyes low, hands behind my back, i went up to him and asked. He probably smiled as He made arrangements. as He orchestrated the dates and reminded people to pray and check in and remind me to “take a break”. i do not take this trip for granted. as i reflect, i dont. it is a privilege to move about when so many people in the world can’t right now. and i want to go out and see more and do more as led by the Lord. my life is different, and it is that deep for me. and i wouldn’t have it any other way. it felt good to be on the land of my BIRTH. life lately pt. 1 🫶🏾 - i’m 29, and God has been beyond good to me. it feels surreal. i have so much to say. but i’ll leave it at this: nothing matters more than Jesus, period. i wouldn’t be here w/out Him. my friends love me no matter what i think and apparently im fun to be around. who knew. ✨long post ✨sometimes God does the thing you asked for but didn’t make a big deal about. samson just got here and im obsessed🥹. someone shared with me that when you live without for such a long time you get surprised when good things happen. and i tend to be private about my wins and losses because i just don’t want to chance a person praying against my well being. truthfully even in that Jesus wins, overwhelmingly. and only what He allows passes through His hands to His children. i live my life knowing that truth. and look, He let samson through His fingers to His little girl. my heart is full of so much joy. thank you to Brielle who has been a conduit of blessings, your nephew is grateful for this connection🫶🏾.
