REMISSION ‼️‼️‼️ MY WIFE FREAKING DID IT ‼️‼️‼️ As a husband watching her go through this has been the most stressful experience I have ever been in and one of the toughest battles we have been in as a family. So many nights of us both crying together and me secretly by myself because I couldn’t do anything to take it away from her. So many prayers of me asking God to give it to me instead because a beautiful soul like hers shouldn’t have to go through that. This woman is so amazing, I’m lost for words she truly is Wonder Woman. Her strength, her pose, her patience, is unmatched. As of June 16th, 2026 I am officially in REMISSION !!!! I have been through a lot in my life and this was the toughest battle yet. A year ago, the place that I was I didn’t think I would even see today or get to hear those words. I tried my best to keep a brave face and not allow fear to get in the way but it did. Shoutout to my husband for remaining faithful and hopeful throughout this entire journey. He has helped keep my head up even when I wanted to give up. He helped wipe every single tear that was shed! He didn’t miss a single appointment. I thank you for never leaving my side, motivating me and pushing me because you knew this would be the outcome! A weight has been lifted. God I thank you for not letting the weapon that was formed against me prosper !!! 💜💜💜 #PatienttoSurvivor by @_ruu94

The GREAT Mr. James Baldwin, ladies and gentleman. His writing literally makes you feel every word and brings each scene to life so vividly it’s truly amazing. Giovanni’s room is much more than just about sexuality but about what’s happens when you aren’t honest with yourself. When you run from who you really are. You trick yourself into believing you are free but you are bound by fear, shame and your own choices. Mr. Baldwin truly makes you sit with the characters and feel the weight of their emotions and decisions. It’s so powerful what words can do 😭 . Giovanni’s room is but a piece (a powerful one tho) of what humanity looks like , such a beautiful tragic story . I can’t wait to dig into more of his catalogue. Sheesh man by @_ruu94

Our ancestors were never just victims but fighters. Clay Cane tells this story of black men and women who refused to live a life of bondage and choosing to fight and risk everything just to have a freedom that also belonged to them. The strength, dignity, and humanity of my people made my heart swell with pride 🤎 we aren’t just victims but fighters who will never lay down without a fight.
