One amazing thing that has come from these last couple of weeks, has been seeing everyone’s comments, messages, and posts themselves, mourning the loss of my dad. They all have mentioned how my dad has changed their lives, saved their lives, saved their children’s life, and so much more. It truly has been such a bittersweet week and a half. Being able to see people I don’t know, and people I do know, talk about and praise my dad, has been heartwarming. I’m so grateful for his legacy, and that I get to hear these stories, and see these people truly love and miss my dad. He lives on. I feel very seen with it all. I’m by far not the only one heartbroken by his passing, or changed by his life. He built a community that I am getting to see more of, and see the impact that he and CMN has had on the world.
I’m very grateful to get to be surrounded by all seven of my siblings and their families at this time. It definitely pays to have a big family when these things happen.
I was his “Angel Babe” and I will miss hearing him call me that every chance he could. This hurts so bad right now, and probably will for a while. But, I’m also experiencing the feelings of love, gratitude, community, and so much more because of the people in my life and who my dad was. What a blessing it is!💙🕊️ by @_ryanmckenzie_
